For comments on the "nightclub" located on site, you can refer to the review written by the person who posted their letter to the hotel chain - that was our experience as well.
Hotel front desk and other personnel (housekeeping HAHAHA) and maintenance were the most unhelpful, slow and miserable I've ever seen.
Upon check in I requested an upper floor room as I was travelling alone with two children....no dice said the front desk, nothing available. Subsequently, several families in our party were checked into 2nd floor rooms...amazing. Lucky for me I was on the non-night club side of the ground floor.
The common areas of the hotel were, in a word, disgusting. Dirty, old, stained, garbage, etc. The hotel rooms were the same. Nothing updated in the past 30 years I would guess. Looked and smelled like there may be a mould problem in the building. Severe shortage of linens apparently as you couldn't find any for love or money.
I can't believe that this property retains its banner. I can say that I will NEVER stay at a Quality Inn given the lack of standards. Best thing for this property would be to tear it down and start over (including new owners/management/staff).More
