Enjoyed our visit to the Fireside Tavern on 10/13/12. The meal was tasty. We had a party of 12 and made a reservation. We were seated immediately at 4PM. The waitress was attentive and quickly replenished drinks. Several of us had the spinach salad which was good. The roasted pork "special" was dry and the prime rib came with gravy on it (which wasn't liked by the person that received it because he expected it with au jus on the side instead of gravy). Personally I would have enjoyed it with the gravy. The flank steak looked delicious and was covered in gravy. The rolls were good. We had 5 children under the age of 8 and they were not treated any different than the other patrons in the restaurant. The restaurant was attractive, decorated nice with fall decorations inside and out. Easy to find - just one block away from the Sight and Sound Theater. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and we would definitely call ahead and make another reservation. The parking lot was packed when we left approximately at 5:30-6 PM.
