Right in downtown in small town of Strasburg, which has more original brick colonial buildings I think I have ever seen. We were met at the front desk by very friendly lady who showed us our room and explained how to get hold of someone in case of a problem. The room was very cozy, huge bathroom and its own heater/AC controls. Free wifi, fudge, k-cups. Come and go as you please well worth the price. ice cream, general store, pizza, and winery really close by.More
We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary at the Inn, and it was a perfect choice for us. When we arrived Miranda took us to our room. Their was a lovely note and poem on the door congratulating us on our anniversary. We were in room 6 with the canopy bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. In the morning, at breakfast in the Creamery, we found another note on our table wishing us a happy anniversary. The staff is very friendly, and then we met Jody. She sang Happy Anniversary to us, which was so sweet of her! We spoke with Jody for quite a while and we found that we met a new friend. All in all, we would certainly recommend the Strasburg Village Inn and we will be back!
It was so much fun for our staff to make a big deal about your anniversary, and being married to the same person for 55 years IS a big deal! What an honor for us to be the place you choose to celebrate such a milestone!

I stayed one night here with my husband and 2 year old son. We received a warm welcome from Jody, who showed us around and helped us to our room. The room (#8) was very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the sitting area on the 2nd floor which included coffees, teas, and chocolate! The breakfast in the attached creamery was outstanding. It was a made to order egg casserole and pancakes, along with cereals, rolls, muffins, etc... Fantastic! Everyone was so friendly, especially with our son. It was comforting knowing that he was welcome and we were relaxed knowing it was a family friendly place (those of you with kids understand what I mean). When we left we were going to purchase ice, but the lady at the creamery filled our cooler for free and gave us some oranges for our son. It's the little things that make a big difference!
We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and the Inn look and atmosphere was tops. Room was comfortable, clean neat and functional. Staff was very helpfull and was truely concerned that we had a good stay.The attached creamery was great and provided a verry good country breadfast. Would stay again.

We spent this past Saturday night at the Strasburg Village Inn and were very happy with our choice and with the property. Manager Jody Osborne was engaging and witty during the booking process, and was a pleasure to deal with during our stay. Our room (#2) was quite clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony, which is a nice place to sit together and sip wine, weather permitting... (if you need wine, there is a wine store immediately adjacent). The Inn has a sitting/gethering room with coffee, fudge, and necessities (like wine glasses; are you sensing a theme here?), is wi-fi capable, and offers a nice breakfast (included) which is staged in the charming creamery/general store. The quaint town is home to a fantastic railroad museum, and close to local attractions (like Cherry Crest Farm, Amish markets, and Lancaster). Jody got us checked in early, hooked us up with dinner and lunch ressies at two worthwhile local eateries (Fireside Tavern and The Iron Horse), and also gave us printed directions for a (driving) covered bridge tour (nice photo op!) All in all? Very nice place and an exceptional host, and we'll be back again. Two thumbs up! Thanks Jody!

We agree that Strasburg is a charming town and it makes us happy when guests go exploring in our backyard and find out how much we have to offer!

Had such a wonderful experience in June we went back Oct 25-28...spotless, great staff-Jody, the innkeeper, is great! Located in a great walking town with historic homes and some shops...great location to everything...breakfast included ... the sitting room always has coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fudge!
Have been going to the Lancaster area 2-3 times a year for many years and stayed in many premium hotels-since we found Strasburg Village Inn it became the only place we will stay from now on! Looking forward to going back in the spring!
