“Perfect Weekend Getaway”

Wanted a place to go without traveling more then 3 hours in a car from New Jersey we took the recommendation of a friend who had stayed at the hotel with there dog - which was the main reason we also picked this place - IT WAS GREAT - the two dogs, two teenagers and Mom and Dad ventured off to the hotel - From the moment we got there NO COMPLAINTS - it was clean - no evidence of previous dogs in our room - Teens Two girls who had there own room - were very pleased - you must mention to them if you are bringing dogs - not all rooms are allowed for dogs - just a little helpful hint. Both rooms that we took were perfect the one without the dogs that the girls had yes a bit bigger -Orange Spa wonderful - from Manicures/ Pedicures, Massages you can't beat the price - just Lovely. You have great shopping -/Amish country side - eating everything you need for a perfect getaway - at a very reasonable price -

We found our perfect getaway for our family and our pets
and will return this summer to enjoy the pool and the outdoors

Upon arrival we were greated warmly by a professional front desk person. Our room was not like the one on the website, however, it was very clean and nicely appointed - more innlike, than luxurious. It was very comforatable.

We had an opportunity to eat in the restaurant, The Bistro, and found the food to be very good. Our server was attentive and courteous. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, but was hot and tasty.

Overall, the location was great, since we were going to Sight and Sound for a show.

My husband and I attended a wedding at Netherlands Inn & Spa on November 18, 2006. The ballroom was beautiful and the staff was very attentive to the needs of the guests. Also, the staff at the front desk was helpful with directions and suggestions for our stay.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was amazing with Amish farm land surrounding the property. Finally, my husband and I will return to Netherlands Inn & Spa.

First of all, if you book this hotel according to their website, you are going to be disappointed for sure. I don't know what room is pictured on their site, but I don't even think it exists at this inn.

Don't expect the housekeeping to do a good job either. If you use the coffee maker, you can bet that they won't even clean it...they didn't clean ours, so the next morning, if we wanted coffee, we had to wash it ourselves. Good thing we didn't end up drinking the coffee we made because we were pretty grossed out.

We stayed at this hotel Friday, November 3rd for 2 nights and definitely do not plan on staying here again. They are in a good location though, close to the outlets too - but its not worth the price we paid to stay here.

If you are looking to stay at a place where you'll be warmly greeted upon check-in and even have the choice of being helped with your luggage - this is NOT the place for you. You won't get either of them here.

The hotel bed and pillows were so bad that we had to go to the outlet and buy pillows. The resturant is over priced and I would never eat there again. The spa was closed. All in all I say "Never Again"

My husband and I stayed at Netherlands Inn & Spa for the weekend to attend a wedding. We had a fabulous time! The Ballroom where the reception was held was so beautiful and the meal (Crab cake & Filet) and the service was exceptional. The bar stayed open late to accomodate the wedding party. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful-from the banquet staff to the front desk person. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked again for a spa getaway weekend for our upcoming anniversary. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed at the inn about 5 years ago, and we must have gotten lucky with a nice room. So, fast forward to this weekend (15th of Oct 2006)

There's a wedding party checking in, and 2 people at the desk. tool about 15 minutes to get our keys. No big deal there. Finally get our "queen" room and it's two double beds. forget about fixing it.
Clerk (fake-redhair lady) wasn't helpful.
strike 1.

bathroom looks like something out of the Bates Hotel.
Did someone use a paint roller to re-surface the tub? Then add some mildew?

Checkout: "politely ask the checkout women, "how are you?" as, and we find out. Lovely hearing your problems. and thanks for th e lack of help getting a better room.

Won't got back. I won't recommend to anyway.
