The park ranger gave a half hour speach daily from 1:00 - 1:30 about what happed on 9-11-01. I was so overcome with emotion, I couldn't stop the tears. I felt like I had just lost my mom and dad. The hero's that died here deserve to be remembered for their bravery! Although, I think they said that the memorial would not be totally complete until 2015, it was amazing and I am so glad we stopped.

Beautiful, serene. The audio tour is awesome at explaining what you are looking at. The park rangers were very helpful at answering questions. Amazing the thought that no one on the ground perished when you realize how close this is to small towns. The only annoying thing was some hill jack making there kids pose and and screaming "smile, honey, smile" the whole time. Really, really? A sight of such tremendous tragedy, and they acted like it was an amusement park! So, if you go, please be mindful of the solemnity of the venue.

I think they did a nice job with this memorial and you could feel the sanctity of the space. It is a touching tribute to those who lost their lives in such a tragedy.

Stopped by the Flight 93 Memorial during our drive though PA. Appropriately somber, with a moving yet simple presentation of the passengers. Keep in mind that the site is not yet completed....but respectful and moving nonetheless.

As a Viet Nam combat veteran, the only memorial which has moved me more is The Wall in D.C.. The layout of the pathway, mimicking the final flight path prior to impact and the names memorialized on the wall is very somber. As you stand there and listen to the park ranger describe the final minutes of the passengers and crew who willingly gave their all to protect the nation's capital is beyond description. It is a must see memorial for of us who remember September 11, 2001.
