We enjoyed this hotel. Clean, staff was friendly and nice pub and restaurant in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again! We didn't eat here this trip but would try out the restaurant next time we visit.

not bad for an old place, but it's been a long time since I've had a room open to the outside and it was a security concern for me (female alone). Also, the room was musty smelling

Greetings Suzanne, thank you for sharing your experience. I apologize for the less than desireable experience regarding your room. Our property was a Holiday Inn before it was The Ramada, so we actually had to construct interior rooms as the Holiday Inn had only exterior rooms. Please do not hesitate to give us a second chance in the future, as we would love to have you back.

Best Regards,
Jennifer Brooks-Stahl

Toilet would not flush. Had to open the tank and lift the float to get it to start then wait for it to fill before flushing each time. When it started to work on it's own it bid not stop. It filled the bathroom floor with condensation. The batteries in the tv remote were dead. And the electronic door lock did note work properly until the third set of cards.

The overall staff was very good, but if you think that you have reserved a certain type of room. Make sure that you have the person taking your reservation read it back to you prior to completeing your reservation. You may not get what you asked for.

Greetings Kevin, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am glad to hear that you had a nice stay.

We unfortunately cannot guarantee specific room locations, quite often we have guests that are scheduled to leave, but their plans change causing them to extend their stay. This, or for maintenance reasons is most likely the reason we were not able to accommodate your room request.

If I can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to give me a call

The first room that we were assigned to was an outside room and there was a lightbulb out and the toilet was not flushing properly. This was reported to the staff and they were going to send maint to fix the issues. I requested a room change and asked for an inside room near the pool. This request was granted and it was a much better experience actually being inside the hotel and not having to access our room from the parking lot.

We always feel welcome at the Ramada State College. It is very convenient and we love that there is a restaurant and lounge available on the premises. We have been staying at the Ramada for game weekends and graduations for 7 years now. The only negative aspect to our stay was that we had to pay $10.00 a night for a cot.

First of all, thank your for your loyalty over seven years. We realize that there are many options in town, and we appreciate your selecting our hotel. I apologize that we have to charge for $10 per night for cots, but there is such a demand on football weekends that we have to end up renting from an outside company. Our charge is actually $15 for the first night and $10 for the second night.

Again, thank you for staying with us, and please do not hesitate to contact myself or Ann Kerr, Front Office Manager, at 814-238-3001.

Best regards,
Jennifer
