Our family stayed here for one night on a college road trip to Penn State. The hotel was clean and nice, the staff was professional and friendly, overall we had a great stay. I liked that the rooms were large - ours had 2 Queen beds and a pull out sofa. Also, a breakfast buffet with bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, juices, etc. was included in the room rate. The hotel is a short drive away from the PSU campus and as far as nearby restaurants go, a good Mexican restaurant, Rey Azteca, is just down the street.

Wow!!! What a nice place to stay. The rooms were really clean. The bed was very comfortable. Melisa and Amanda at the front desk were the best, super freindly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome with plenty of food and good choices. The Housekeepers were super freindly as well. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed ours.

A good location, 10 minutes from downtown State College and close to plenty of shopping. This hotel was surprisingly well-appointed, with a lot of nice amenities in the room such as a shaving mirror, microwave, small refrigerator, and excellent desk chair. The bed was fine, on the firm side. The entire hotel was quiet, new, and clean, with a very attractive lobby. Good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and lots of parking.

In it's price range ($108/2 beds)..tough to beat. Get top floor (4th floor room) for great evening view/sunset (on hotel entrance side)

Hardwired internet along with wifi is very decent speed for BW hotels. (about 2.6 MB when I ran speedtest/pingtest) so gaming is fine.

Really tough to find-although less than 500m from the Nitanny Mall (the few posted signs assume approach is from I80..and even hen the hotel is not visible from road.

And for drivers familiar with PA multiple road signage, traffic flow, and mega-intersections with turn-lane lights..you know what I'm talking about.

Wonderful place. Can not recommend too highly, for the price.

Exceeded my expectations for a Best Western and clearly a great choice when in the area. A short drive (but a drive nonetheless) of about 10-15 minutes from downtown State College and the university area. Parking was plentiful, free, and easy to access. The room was clean, comfortable, and like new. My only complaint was that a room key card was required to "activate" the electrical systems (a/c or heat, lighting, tv, etc) in the room upon opening the door. As a young woman business traveler, often arriving by myself in strange hotels in strange cities late in the evening, I did NOT like having no lights until I placed my key card in the beeping receptacle by the door. I applaud their energy conservation but would hope they could have an alternative for some of us. That said, still a great choice - and a fantastic bargain!
