just 'friendly' in general. This was our first stay in this area with our dog. We found the hotel to be very clean, with an exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff and a super dog-friendly environment. The room was quiet and breakfast was expansive (waffles, hot/cold cereals, eggs, toast, pastries, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt etc).
The desk staff gave us directions to places we could walk our dog and see the local sights.
The location is easily accessible to restaurants and even a bit of shopping within walking distance. Although the hotel grounds are small, they will more than adequately accommodate short morning/evening dog walks and pick-up bags and fresh water are readily available.
The rate was competitive...but a choice hotel promotion made it even better (be sure to check their website or sign up for the notices of promotions).
We've been to other pet-friendly hotels and this one would definitely get a top rating from us...and our dog! If we return to the area we would stay here again. it was a bit of a detour from our trip east on I-80, but definitely worth it.
