The special that night was a 10 oz flat iron steak and was very nicely done. That plus one cocktail and the salad bar for under $20

“Our Hotel Restaurant”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We were staying in the Ramada, so we had a Saturday morning breakfast here-$7.95 per person on weekends, but free Mon thru Fri for buffet. It was average hotel fare.

After a day of touring the Penn State Campus, we stopped in the bar area around 11 pm for drinks and a snack. Great drinks and drink prices ($4 for a mixed drink!!), live music, friendly people-good times in Happy Valley!

“Expected More....”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

My first visit to this place and based on that, I prb wouldnt go back.

Ordered the fish and chips for dinner and calamari as an appetizer. Wasnt anything special and I have had much better for less money elsewhere.

Not a whole lot of selections and I thought the prices were high for the area.

The calamari was ok, but could have come from a box out of the freezer. The fish was good but the chips (fries) were horrible (cold and stale).

Perhaps other things on the menu are better then what I ordered?

“Fine hotel bar food”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Drinks and burgers were fine after a long day. Price is fair. Nightly drink specials. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat and drink here, but better than most hotel bars.
