I like Outback as a chain. Some of the locations are like regular restaurants with great food (try the one in Glen Mills, PA, as well). This one is always crowded and with a long wait (out on the sidewalk a lot of the time -- they provide some benches). If you don't mind waiting you get absolutely delicious food that can only be prepared in really hot oven/broilers. And everything I've ever had there is tops. Being a beef type guy, that's my first choice. But everything else is really good, including the sides. And if you like Bloomin' Onion ®, this is the place to get it. (Tried it at home -- didn't work.)
Service is homey and fairly fast, but you have to allow time for them to prepare your food.
It is crowded, noisy, and a great place to eat hearty food. Try it once and see if you can take the wait.
