“Had a fantastic romantic getaway.”

We thought everything was great, the spa, food, location and room. Our only discouragement which put a damper on the overall trip was during checkout. Now we booked a suite at $545 a night. I was second in line of checkouts. So heard the host ask how was your stay etc, extremely polite as all of the manor's employees were. But when it was my turn I didn't get the same treatment. It was here is your bill, I paid and she wrapped my souvenirs. That was it, no asking how my stay was or come back again. Then as I'm leaving the next couple in line were greeted in kind as the first. I felt a little unwanted there, like did I do something wrong? It was bizarre and like I said it put a damper on the trips ending.

My parents had given us a gift certificate for our anniversary for the Enchanted Evenings Package. We stayed in the Esprit room (Spa suite). When we arrived we were greeted by Tara in the main house who gave us all of the information on our stay as well as the property and walked us over to our room. The room was well furnished and in good condition. We had a chilled bottle of champagne awaiting in our room as well as a cheese and fruit plate, chocolates and sherry. A very nice touch! Some previous reviews didn't seem to appreciate it; so, if you don't like it, don't have it. We enjoyed some time just to sit in front of the fireplace and relax; which I'm sure many of you would agree is very hard to come by at home. It was the perfect time of year to stay as it was snowing out which made it extra nice to use the fireplace. If you want to use any of the facilities on the property, like the pool, you may want to bring some extra clothes as you will have to walk outside. We ended up throwing on our robes from the Inn and walked down to the indoor pool and hot tub. We thought the pool temp was a little cold, so we just used the hot tub. They have soft music playing in the pool area as well so we just chilled on the lounge chairs around the pool and, again, relaxed. We stayed during the week, so it was nice and quiet. Later, we enjoyed dinner in the beautiful dining room. Philip took very good care of us during dinner giving us some helpful suggestions. Dinner was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Everything had such amazing flavor and was perfectly cooked. And since it was during the week and a snowy evening, the dining room was quiet with one other couple, so it was like we had the place to ourselves! A perfect evening! Breakfast was equally delicious the next morning. Tara again took care of us. Try the huckleberry coffee....it's amazing! This was the best place to go for some quality time alone together and some time to relax. Thanks for an amazing stay! We can't wait to go back!!

I've stayed in many places through out the years ( some very nice ), but the French Manor was hands down the nicest, most friendly and all inclusive of them all. On top of the top notch amenities, the food is easily five star.

Room Tip: Every room is great. The rooms are even much nicer then the professional pics on website.

We had the most beautiful time. The French Manor Inn is gorgeous, our room was fantastic with a private balcony and fireplace, the couples' massage was relaxing and we enjoyed a spectacular dinner. The staff was great and breakfast was divine. After our massage, we headed to the pool, (we were the only ones there, so we felt as if we were in our own spa!) and were joined (as a surprise to my husband!) by his brother and our sister-in-law. The attendant at the Spa arranged for a bottle of red and a bottle of white to be delivered poolside by a lovely waiter.

It was a great time and a very special place. We will go back.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Spa Suites.

The place is unbelievable! It's like you are in a fairy tale with gorgeous castle-like setting, high-scale french cuisine and very romantic atmosphere. Everything is just right, the room, the service, the food, the grounds and, of course, salt-water pool. I cannot wait to go back!

The Logan Family certainly has outdid themselves this past New Year's Eve into New Year's Day 2014 with an elegant, romantic dining experience! We had a party of 12 and all enjoyed each day of their stay. They also raved about the entire staff, the music, the exquisite and delectable cuisine of Executive Chef Andy Gramps and his culinary staff. Just amazing!

We were treated as family and I can say if you have the opportunity to dine or to stay and dine it WILL be an experience you will never forget.

Thank you Bridget.

My husband and I stayed at the French Manor for a weekend in October and we were wowed by this place. We went during peak foliage and the property is stunning overlooking the Poconos. We stayed in a spa suite room which had a private balcony, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub. We also used the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We took a day trip to Bushkill Falls and hiked, which I highly recommend. We did not eat at the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!
