Quality Inn & Conference Center

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times, the latest was New Year's Eve 2006. we had a great time, although the place was definitely in need of a renovation.

the pool was very nice and we enjoyed it. personally I do not care for pools heated to the point where it's like getting into a bath tub. I'm not sure if that was why the pool was dissed by a poster or not.

however regarding the photos posted by a guest: the one identified as the "tropical courtyard" is in fact an outside courtyard. the tropical courtyard is the huge INDOOR facility in the center of the hotel. if the person actually stayed there for a wedding, there's a good chance that is where the reception was held! it is totally enclosed and some of the rooms overlook it.

Stayed here one night, (1 too many). 1st room they gave us was unbelievable. Wall below air conditioner was falling out, crumbling concrete, dirt, cobwebs, etc. Bathroom had paint spots all over floor, toilet actually wobbled, mold all around tub. Requested another room and this one was slightly better, but tub still had mold everywhere. We were with a group or would have checked out, others in the tour also changed rooms or complained. Our first hint should have been the sign out front that said "truckers special".

Hotel was located right off the turnpike which is nice if your traveling on the turnpike. The over all hotel cleanliness (clean but could be better) was what I expected for the run down look. We had 2 double bed rooms. Check in went smoothly with friendly front desk people. We checked in and went out and didn't get back to the room until 11pm that's when we found out the toilet wouldn't flush. Called the front desk around midnight and they sent up house keeping with a plunger which did no good. The housekeeper said she was having problems in another room to and she would make us a priority since we were staying 4 more nights. My wife called the front desk about getting another room but was told they were sold out. Next morning called the front desk again and they sent up a maintenance man with a plunger and after sometime gave up and said he would have to remove the toilet to find the problem. After he got done the toilet would flush sort of. You had a 50/50 chance it would work until the last day when it stopped altogether. The second room you had to stand in ankle deep water while taking a shower. Pretty sure they have some plumbing issues. I don't think we would stay there again unless no other option.

Took two rooms in this hotel. A regular room and an one bedroom suite. The suite was huge and was more than enough to accomodate a family with three young kids. The rooms are in pretty good shape, although the hotel and the rooms don't look new. The looby is nice. We were dissapointed that breakfast was not included in price. It is a reasonable place to spend a night while traveling in the area.

We stayed at this hotel for the Autumfest at Seven Springs for 2 days. When we arrived the desk lady was mostly nice.3 out of my 8 hours of sleep were interrupted by roudy Nascar fans. Also the beds are somewhat hard. The shower curtains are great however. The manager to put it mildly was shruw-like and rude. When I asked her how the restaurant was she scowled at me.The indoor pool is nice but it dosen't have any lights andit dosen't have a liner it is cement also it his heated but it is normally freezing. The hottub tempeture was not very warm. The breakfast was Great, but it could have been warmer the hotel is in okay condition like the exercise machines were not even on the handrails were rusty and the landscaping was not very productive it was just a few bushes.Overall it a plesant hotel nice location stay there if you have kids or need a quick 2 night stay somewhere of the Pa turnpike.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for two days in July 2006 so we could visit Idlewild Park.

The hotel itself is situated right off the Pennsylvania turnpike, which I guess is great if you come in that way. We came in another direction and had to cross the road where the toll gates were in order to enter the hotel. Fortunately, there wasn't much traffic coming off the highway that day or it could have been extremely dangerous.

The room was clean when we arrived, but we did not have enough towels and they only give one little shampoo bottle for 4 people . We stayed 2 days and the shampoo and soap were never replaced. Neither was the one pack of coffee. The room has a coffee maker, but no microwave or refrigerator. It has a beautiful indoor pool and hottub. It also has an ice machine and soda machine.

The personnel seemed to be friendly for the most part, but my husband did have one incident. The hotel has coffee in the lobby. My husband went to the lobby at 8 a.m. to get a cup. An employee drank the last cup, so he told my husband to go to the restaurant to get a cup. He did, but when he arrived, a waitress rudely told him that he could not do that and that he had to have someone from the front desk come for him. By this time, my husband was getting fed up and went to the front desk again. He did get a cup of coffee, but it's ridiculous what he had to do to get it.

After the build up by other reviewers, we were quite frankly very disappointed. The entire hotel is tired and depressed. The hallway carpeting is stained and there is a pervasive cigarette smell (but thankfully not in our non-smoking room. ) Our actual room was very clean but looked out on this dark interior courtyard and thus was very depressing. It felt quite claustophobic. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the decor very dated. And there is no free breakfast offered (unlike other hotels in the area). I would pass on this Ramada and try somewhere else.
