Clean, comfortable, quiet, nice size rooms, breakfast was included! We were in the area to visit the memorial for flight 93, we would stay again if we were in the area. Close to some good restaurants! And close to shopping!

Stayed in room 207B on 7/13. Was solo & on my way home from visiting family.
I stay in a lot of hotels and for $105 a night this hotel was a superstar!
From the friendly staff, to the well appointed & CLEAN modern room and the GOOD complementary breakfast, this hotel was nearly flawless for this price point.
The breakfast had expanded hours from 6:30 to 10:30, much appreciated. The food was the usual and included waffles, muffins, danish, bagels, English muffins, sausage links, egg patties, yogurt, apples, oranges, cereals, juices and coffees.
Down on floor 1 there was also a bar/lounge area that had basic food service such as a burger and chips for $5.95. There is also a pizza hut in the area that delivers to the hotel.
My room was right next to the ice machine and it scared me awake a few times during the night which was really a bummer, BUT I couldn't bring myself to take a point off for this, that is how impressed I was with this hotel. However I strongly recommend that you request a room away from the ice machine!! I will do the same the next time I stay here, and there will certainly be a next time!

Room Tip: Request a room AWAY from the ice machines.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with all of us here at the Comfort Inn located in Somerset. Your words are truly appreciated by all of our team. We strive to provide the best guest experience as possible and it's encouraging to hear the words "top notch" used to describe us. I do apologize for the noise of the ice machine. The next time you stay with us, we will of course honor your request to be away from an ice machine. Again, thank you so much for your time and for being our guest! We look forward to seeing you again!

The hotel is nicely laid out with quiet, clean rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The pool was welcome relief after our long journey from Toronto. Everything added up to a very pleasant stay...highly recommended.

We were attending a function just outside of Somerset and needed a place to stay overnight. This turned out to be excellent. The Front Desk was very courteous and efficient. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was equipped with hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, and microwave. There was the standard array of soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There were plenty of thick towels and the shower was strong with plenty of hot water. We had some free time in the afternoon so we sat at the pool (only had an outdoor pool). It appeared very well maintained. They had a Lounge that opened onto the pool. It was just opening (around 4 PM) so we didn't check it out. There were soda machines and snack machines that were well-stocked. There was a flat screen TV in the room that received a lot of channels (practically every channel I could think of). They had one of the "sanitary remote controls" that are totally sealed and can be wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes. In the morning, they have a free breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM that includes what they call a "hot breakfast". This is the one thing that they didn't do right and why I rate them a 4 instead of a 5. We got to breakfast at 9 AM. The "hot breakfast" was sausage links and some kind of eggs. I'm not sure of the eggs because the bin was empty (except for a few scraps). There was a lady clearing/cleaning tables and servicing the food supply. I asked her if there were any more eggs. She said they were cooking them. Luckily, I didn't wait for the eggs. I had a few sausage links and a muffin. We left the breakfast area at 9:40 AM and they still hadn't brought out any more eggs. They did have almost everything you could want for breakfast - pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereals, waffles, juice, coffee, milk, etc. I recommend staying there but don't count on the "hot breakfast".

This hotel is right off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the small town of Somerset, in the western part of PA. It's an older property that has been kept very clean and maintained. Don't expect something fancy. They do have a nice outdoor pool, and a decent free breakfast. As do most Comfort Inns, they still accept smokers. We requested a room far from the smoking rooms, but through no fault of theirs, the smoke still permeated the air, although it was not overwhelming. It's just inevitable, so if you are sensitive, you might not be happy. The room is traditionally furnished and included a mini-fridge and microwave. It's within walking distance to at least four diner-style restaurants, and one nicer restaurant.
