We had the opportunity to stay at the Inn on a business trip and the company there uses the Georgian as their preferred vendor for their incoming business associates. I had the opportunity to go with my husband on this trip. I was delighted. The staff, the rooms, the food the ambiance... wow... just a delightful experiance all round. Such attentive people taking care of you there is even a greeting when you enter your room welcoming you by name. When we went to dinner our menu was personalized as well. Talk about makeing you feel so special. The food was fabulous and well worth it. Just a delight to the palet. We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing breakfast each morning. All round it was a lovely quaint experiance that makes me want to return. Though there really is not to much to do in Somerset it was so much fun keeping my husband company in the evenings and exploring the contry side.

We were traveling and saw the billboard for the inn. We called and were thrilled to see they had a room available. From the moment you walk in, the experience was wonderful. The mansion feeling, the incredible dinner, the awesome rooms, loved the pillows and blankets, and the delicious breakfast. The owners happened to be there and their story of restoration was heartwarming. I would highly suggest this as a destination, f you are looking for a quick getaway.

Room Tip: Make sure you eat dinner onsite. Both our meals were exceptional!

We arrived late in the afternoon - in time to enjoy a delicious dinner. The Georgian Inn salad, filet mignon, and pumpkin creme brulee were our favorites, but everything was quite tasty. We met our host during dinner and were warmly welcomed.
The rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the sheets and towels provided were luxurious. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and scrumptious. We were served pumpkin french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit. We would recommend the Georgian Inn of Somerset highly - not only for overnight stays, but also for special events.

Beautiful older house located atop a hill for panoramic views. Spacious rooms. Be prepared to climb stairs though as an elevator will not be an addition. All of the "gathering" rooms are lovely. The whole place is quite inviting and the hosts are just wonderful. Enjoyed our visit with them. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Room Tip: If you have ambulatory issues, choose a room on the second floor.

We spent our 20 year wedding anniversary at the Georgian Inn. We were looking for an overnight accommodation between our travels from Pittsburgh to Philly. Thank god we stumbled upon the inn.

We stayed in the Mountain View room. That was the only room left to since every room was sold for that Friday night. Our room was very, very small but quaint. The bathroom might have been larger than the bedroom. But it was still very beautiful. We thought it was funny though that the tv had a built in VCR.

We checked in around 3 and went straight to the bar. The bar is gorgeous. They were playing really good music. We sat and had a few drinks then went outside and sat on the deck. There is a huge flight of concrete steps that take you down to the shops below. We took our drinks with us and shopped around. You must stop in at the record/book store if you like vinyl and old books.

Dinner was AWESOME! A nice and reasonable wine list. We got a bottle of Reisling for $30. For dinner, I highly recommended the pumpkin ravioli. The food was served with white gloves, a nice touch.

Breakfast was so-so. Our waitress was very chatty which was a little annoying. The breakfast offer was eggs benedict. It was ok but not great. Coffee was cold.

Overall, The Georgian Inn is a wonderful place to stay. We cant wait to go back again!

We are glad you had a great time at our lounge. Many of our guests as well as yourselves take advantage of relaxing on our terrace and walking down our steps to the shops. Its very great to hear that your dinner was "awesome" and that you found a suitable wine! We can't wait for your return visit with us.
