We like to stop at the Best Western when traveling on 81. Tried to stop a few weeks ago on our way north and they were booked. We were disappointed but were able to stop on the return trip. They have a great pool and hot tub which we enjoyed. It is a older place but they keep it very clean. Continental breakfast is very good too with lots of choices. Like to eat at the Toll House Restaurant in town too instead of fast food so it makes a great stop.

Room Tip: Its away from the highway so you miss all the traffic noise

We arrived very late on a Monday night and were greeted by a very nice man at the front desk. He made sure we got the best price possible and even helped us out with a coupon someone had brought but wasn't able to use. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. We woke early to finish our journey cross country but we did eat the complimentary breakfast. It was delicious we were very pleased! I definitely recommend this hotel.

My family and I didn't have a good experience. We stayed two nights and they didn't clean our room or give new towels on the second day. the hotel seemed very under staffed because at breakfast they kept running out of things. Then when we got home found that they took out the amount of our stay twice out of our account and that it would take up to three or four days till they would take care of the problem. If you stay do not use a debit card.

For a one night stay it was overall a comfortable experience. Clean, simple and a bed that feels like your sleeping on a cloud.
Breakfast was ok. Breakfast foods should be labeled though. I ate a gravy that I thought was oatmeal.

Pet friendly hotel! My dog and I had a great time at this hotel for the weekend while we were attending a dog event. I upgraded to the suite, which was well worth the money for the extra space, especially when having a pet. The cleaniness could have been a little better as the room appeared very clean but my dog soon sniffed out stains he was licking off the carpet, an old peanut M&M behind the T.V. and someone's nasty hair scrunchy he got from behind the refrigerator...yuck! Other than that, we were very comfortable. Plenty of open space and grass to walk him. The private balcony to the suite looked over the pool, so I crated him on the balcony and he got to watch me swim. The pool was lovely..indoor, heated and clean. The breakfast was far more than the average continental breakfast as it had eggs, sausages, biscuits, a waffle maker & more. Would stay again.

Room Tip: The king suite is well worth the upgrade, but can get loud during the open hours for the pool as it overlooks the pool area.
