“Beautiful, Relaxing, Escape...”

My husband and I stayed at Santosha (NatureScape Room) for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed at any number of B&Bs over the years, and none have compared with Santosha. The beauty of the natural surroundings combined with the exceptional design and decor of the inn, create a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere to get away from the everyday. The NatureScape room is spacious, cozy, and private. The entire B&B is clean beyond words, as if it is brand new! Breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and included seasonal produce from the garden on site! Leslie and Amy are welcoming and ready with suggestions for all activities/dining in the area, including printed directions for a multitude of destinations. Fantastic! We decided this will be our getaway spot.

Room Tip: Naturescape gives almost total privacy

I think that Santosha has now spoiled us for staying at other bed and breakfasts. No rooms with little flowered drapes and bedspreads and ruffles etc. This isn't your typical victorian b and b, and it was so refreshing. We stayed in the Sunrise room and it was very spacious, comfortable and beautiful. Exactly as on the web site. The hosts, Amy and Leslie, are really sweet and friendly. We felt totally welcome and comfortable. This really is like a hidden gem. There are only 4 rooms....so sssshhhhh.

Our original intention for selecting Santosha was to find someplace new and different, and to "get away from it all". Yet time after time as we plan our getaway weekends, we find ourselves drawn back to Santosha. When we find that we want to get outdoors and do something, we've been able to go hiking, skiing, tubing, and just general exploring. On other trips when we want to do absolutely nothing at all, we've been able to do that also.

The house itself is perfect, providing the peace and relaxation in an overly comfortable setting that often makes it difficult to leave. And the company is always friendly as well. We've enjoyed meeting new people on each visit but always look forward to the familiar faces of Leslie and Amy, and of course Xena and Lucy, who have truly made this place a home away from home. For the trips where we've wanted nothing but peace and quiet, they are kind enough to ensure that we get it. For other trips where we've wanted to talk about everything and nothing, they always seem to have good stories and enjoy a good chat over those delicious cookies in the kitchen!

Whatever we're looking for, we always seem to find it at Santosha. We don't know what we'll need in the future, whether it's adventure in the Poconos or just a breath of fresh air, but we look forward to our next trip to help us find it.

Room Tip: plan your trip a couple months in advance! it's worth the wait!

A wonderful, peaceful sanctuary in the woods. This place had it all, a beautiful setting, delightful, helpful proprietors and great rooms and amenities - good wifi, home-made cookies as snacks, yoga, hot tubbing. We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary and get away from NYC, and although we were there for lesxs than 48 hours, it felt like days and left us feeling wonderfully refreshed. The B&B is ideal for hiking/exploring the water gap, and it is easy to get to larger towns to eat out if that is your thing. Overall it was a fabulous weekend and somewhere we are sure to return to many times.

What a perfect place for us to stop on the way to NYC last weekend. After a long day on the road, it was so relaxing to rest in the hammock on the deck overlooking the Delaware River valley with some soothing tea and freshly baked cookies. Leslie and Amy treated us like special guests, but we also felt almost like family in the informal and comfortable ambiance they created for all of the guests. We can't wait to visit them again, and enjoy another amazing breakfast experience. We also recommend the nearby Thai and Peruvian restaurants.

My husband and I were invited to a surprise 40th for a cousin/friend. They had rented out the bed and breakfast just for this occasion. From the moment we called to confirm our GPS directions to the time we left it was a delightful experience. We arrived and were greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The were accommodating to all of our needs and helped with everything. Because this was a weekend of surprise we were in charge of bringing up the cake and the wine. The helped bring everything in and put it away for the surprise. The house is like a chalet and is quite lovely. There are picturesque views from all windows and it is a very tranquil atmosphere. The hot tub is a lovely addition off of one of the decks. We woke to a fantastic breakfast that was prepared by Amy who helps run the Inn. She took all dietary needs in to consideration and made an enjoyable and delicious breakfast. I would definitely go back again and would love to see what it is like in the winter. There are also many other things to do but unfortunately we did not have the time to do them. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We just came back from a wonderful, romantic stay at the best B&B ever! The house and grounds are gorgeous and the views from the house are breathtaking. We slept in the newly designed Asian-themed Woodland Vale room and it was quite private with a pretty screen separating our quarters from the rest of the house, down the hallway. Leslie & Amy are super sweet and friendly, with great tips on which waterfalls to see and which restaurants get the rave reviews. Breakfast was scrumptious and made beautifully with colors from their garden's fruits & veggies. We felt so pampered and relaxed, we did not want to leave! We also had a great time meeting the other really nice couples at our cozy sit-down breakfasts. We're already planning our next trip back!
