We visited this last summer in June. We stayed only one night, but it was amazing! The water park was awesome, clean, huge, and warm. The food was excellent. It's exquisite. I would recommend getting a meal plan which made it less stressful. The room was okay, it was nice, but not fabulous. It had a balcony, but it looked onto the parking lot. So..not great but really not bad. We just got a basic room, but it comfortable slept five people.

Room Tip: If you aren't going to spend much time in your room, I wouldn't pay the extra money for a fa...

We have gone to this place for 3-4 yrs in a row, every time 2 nights after Christmas. Waterpark is great - good rides - Double Barrel Drop is the best (try going late in evening or first thing 9am - lines are shortest). even for 1-2 yr olds, the kiddie pool is fun. Lots of activities, rooms are decent size (we have 3 kids, Kids Cabin configuration works best for us).
The main problem is that the food on premises is consistently awful and pricey. Try branching out beyond the resort into the neighboring villages.

Just returned from a three day stay at Great Wolf Lodge in PA. Our party included 3 adults and 3 kids, aged 6, 8, and 12. Overall, we had a fantastic time! The water park is extremely managed. It is well staffed, is safe,NAND extremely clean. Its many features kept all of us entertained.
The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. The arcade is bright, clean and has lots of fun games I've never seen elsewhere...very few shooting games (which made us happy).

The downsides of this resort are relatively few, but not insignificant. Several other reviewers have mentioned the feeling that your pocket is being picked while you're there. I agree. For the nightly rates, do they really have to charge for the locker rentals in the water park?? Their are not many restaurant choices in the resort...basically fast food or a buffet that is mediocre and overpriced.

The rooms are decent but in need of an upgrade. We rented two of the more expensive suites (kid cabin and wolf den) but wouldn't do that again. The Wolf Den was very small. The mattresses on the kids bunk beds are very thin and the elastic in the bottom sheets was tired(in all cases) which resulted in the kids waking up on the rubberized mattresses. They ended up sleeping with us. The tops of the tables and bedside tables were very worn...in short, the accommodations were beat.

If it was a stand alone hotel, we wouldn't go back. But it isn't. The fun we had there as a family made putting up with the disparity between the accommodations/food and the entertainment. We'll go back.

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for the Premium Suites. They're a rip of

Just got back from a 2 day trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We had a great time last year so we figured why not go back. It was my daughters birthday and we could'nt ask for a better time. The water park was awsome and so were alll the interactive actvities, like the Magi Quest. The buffet was top notch especially chef Ron. My son has an issue with Gluten and Dairy. He personally came out to take our order, expained the whole Gluten and Dairy free menu and took a personal role in the preparation of our food. We could not have asked for a better quick family get away. Thanks to everyone at the Great Wolf Lodge for an awsome time.

We have come to Great Wolf Lodge for the last 3 Christmases, but this is the first time we've stayed here. The room was nice & clean. The waterpark is a child's dream & even the parents enjoy it. There is always something to do, whether it be the arcade, scoops, magiquest, dance party, etc... Downfall is that the buffet is $25 pp & the food is lackluster at best. Expensive is the word to describe the food, which consists of chix fingers, burger & similar fare. There is a curfew that starts at 11:00 pm, but should begin at 9. My 3 yr old was awakened at 11:15 from the loud noises in the hallway & the room above. Overall a great place to visit for the waterpark, but i feel the cost definitely outweighs the benefits. Staff was amazing.

Our kids had an amazing time.. We knew what the price was prior to coming.. So.. Can't complain about that..

The rooms are spacious.. However they are very dated and could use some updating.. Also needs some soundproofing, as you can hear everything in your room.. They do not have blankets on the bed, so we had to call down for some. They came with the first one, and told us they were getting the second one, it was very nice for them to drop one off and let us know.

All if the staff we encountered were very helpful and very pleasant.. When a family took our chairs, to include sitting on our stuff, an employee made sure to find us somewhere to put our stuff and sit down.

My complaint is the way they gouge you with the prices on things.. Ice cream, water, etc.. It's unbelievable...a six pack of ice cream costs 1.50 at home, they charge 3.25 each.. Water is over $3.00 each.. If you get the pizza meal deal, they don't have plates for you to eat the pizza, you have to go search elsewhere..

This was a nice gift for our boys, but is very expensive.

My family of four (Mom, Dad, 6 year old girl and 5 year old boy) stayed here for one night on Thursday, December 20th. We arrived at the hotel on Thursday at 11 am. I walked right up to the reception desk, without a wait. We were told that we could have our wristbands for the waterpark at that time and that our room was ready. We had four friends coming to visit and spend the day with us at the waterpark, we were able to buy their wristbands at the same time, give them access to our room and leave their wristbands at the front desk for them to pick up when the arrived later in the day. Everything ran very smoothly and the employees at the reception desk were very friendly We were up in our room with our luggage within 15 minutes of parking. We had a wolfden room which was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds and having a little tv in their "room". It suited its purpose for one night with 2 young kids visiting a waterpark.

We did Magiquest which the kids had fun with, running all around the hotel. We went to the waterpark from around 1:30 to 5:30. The kids had a blast and it was not too crowded at all. We got pizza, chicken fingers and fries for dinner. I was concerned with some of the postings I had read about the food and rude / drunk people. We encountered none of that. We went to story time, which was crowded, but the kids were still able to see and hear what they needed too. I did hear a lot of kids running around in the hallway, but all four of us were exhausted from the busy day... we were all asleep by 9:30... no noise kept us up or woke us up.

We visited the waterpark again in the morning from 9 to 10:30, showered back in the room, checked out and finished Magiquest. We also loved being able to charge everything to our room and that our wristbands were our keys.
All in all we were very satifsified with our stay and can't wait to go back!
