“Drinks among the Rocks”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Lovely spot for outdoor drinks and dinner in an unusual spot along the French Creek. The huge boulders and rushing creek are beautiful to see. Many times local groups play music.

“Love the location backs onto Frenchcreek”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Wonderful ambience, Tastefully decorated, You can dine indoors or outside on the patio with a view of Frenchcreek.

Waitstaff is always helpful, We have yet to encounter an issue when dining here.

We had Sunday brunch out on the patio with a small group of friends, We dined in the dining room with a larger group of friends and family In my husband I ordered take out a few times.

We have yet to receive a bad meal.

We have had anything from the cheeseburger to hot wings to Sunday brunch, Pasta dishes.
The food is good, Not excellent though it is decent and priced well.

“Lovely out of the way spot to visit”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

This is one of the more interesting spots in Pennsylvania in season to eat outside, next to
babbling French Creek and across from a colorful quarry in an small old village you would never expect to be where it is. The food isn't bad either.

“Disappointing Brunch”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Six other women and I made reservations for a Sunday brunch well in advance and asked for a private area as we wanted a leisurely brunch and would most likely be loud. We were greeted to a cold upstairs room with no ambiance - one of the large window curtains missing, no music, a bowl with 3 apples on a table runner was our centerpiece, unlit candles, dirty and stained menus. Every time the phone rang for the restaurant it also rang in our private room - several times. Our waitress informed us that it was best not to order any of the eggs as the "chef" was having a hissy fit about cooking brunch that day and they would be overcooked. The waitress was also unfamiliar with several items on the menu. Needless to say, we were all quite disappointed and will not go back.
