My husband arranged for us to celebrate our anniversay here for dinner. We had a lovely table out back overlooking the rocks, etc. Our server came by right away with water and a tasty bread and olive oil/grated cheese combo. She asked if we wanted to order anything from the bar, which we did. We waited about 10 min before yet another server came by asking if we had been seen yet. Then it happened a second time. Finally our drinks came, another 10 minutes. We ordered off the menu (later learned that we were never given the specials!). We orderd a seafood salad which was very sad and not at all what we read in the menu; no dressing, a few scallops, a decent amount of crab meat, and three shrimp that were cut into half pieces so that when you flip over the shrimp you see that the back half is mssing! I've never seen that before. It was over sloppy cut up romain. Its cost: 13! Then we waited 40 minutes until we received our meals. My husband had a veal parm dish with pasta ($20 or so) which he said was good, and I ordered fruite de mare ($24) which was decent amount of seafood mixed into pasta with red sauce and so everything tasted like cheap red sauce--this happened after that I asked that no oysters be included so I had to send it back worried that I would never receive my meal since it took so long the first time. We asked for our check and for the rest to be wrapped and left disappointed--2 hours after being seated and never receiveing an appology from our wait staff. I felt bad for my husband who really wanted to make the night fun, but it wasnt his fault My suggestion to this restaurant is select staff with a personality and hire a new chef! This was not worth it for the money we spend!
