We stayed in August and booked in March with connecting rooms, pool view. The owners are very nice and met our needs with a small cot for our 4 yr old and extra towels each day. Yes, the rooms need updating as well as the playground which had broken equipment. The pool was cleaned daily and my kids used at every opportunity. We also ate the continental breakfast several days but the toaster would only work sporadically. The beds are very hard but some people need a firm mattress, The a/c is a wall unit but ours wasn't that loud compared to others. Each day the rooms were cleaned by an Amish lady who we spoke with. We also walked acrossed the road to an Amish farm who had a stand up with produce, vegetables, jellies and homemade goodies. Several people had their pets but you never heard them. We have visited this area for 30+years and stay at different places as well as rent houses. We would stay here again since they do allow pets! Garme room was non existant

Room Tip: We stayed in room 16 & 18 connecting rooms pool view. Would request those rooms again.

Don't even know where to begin. This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed in!! Because we received a discount, we were given a sub-standard room! As soon as you enter the room, the musty,barn-like stench practically knocks you out! Then, once you get past that, you start noticing things like the 1960 decor throughout the whole room & bathroom! Then you see the smoke alarm, with the case open, showing there is no battery in it! Then, you can't help but notice the in-the-wall air conditioner that never stops running, & sounds like a freight train coming right through your room! And, oh yes, the continental breakfast. What a joke!! I'm not even going to continue. This place isn't worth my valuable time!! Don't be swayed by the other reviews! I don't know what they're talking about! Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else!!

Room Tip: Pay full price to get a nicer room.

Kathy and I just returned from one week stay. Though not new, the motel is very comfortable, quiet and very clean. Being between route 30 and 340, you are right in the middle of everything. The owners were very nice. I searched long and hard to find a place that was reasonable and had no complaints. Many of the other guests we talked to had stayed here many times and we will again when we return

Room Tip: First floor front was great for us.

This motel is just a wonderful restful place to stay. The owners are delightful people and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. We have stayed here many times last summer and twice this year. How nice to sit outside watching buggies clop by and just relax. They serve a very nice breakfast and the rooms are clean and cozy.

From the very first the owners were very accomadating and changed our room to one on the lower level because of my mother being 80. The rooms were clean and the price was right. The inn is a little old some would say retro. Yes the door had scratches probably from a dog. It had all I needed for my stay to be a pleasant one. The breakfast was adequate with sweet rolls, muffins, bagels, cereal, juice, milk and coffee. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. It is very close to all the major attractions. As for ice all you had to do is read the message on the machine and ask for the tokens. It does have internet.

Comfortable room, reasonable rates, in a quiet area of Amish County. If want to see horse and buggies go by, and not trucks, stay here. Well kept swimming pool and grounds. The owners are very nice. We will be back.
