My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the end of June.I must say that the neighbors are really animals, namely cows and horses. We got to meet the owner's dog and cats. Friendly and very attentive to the guests. I guess that rubbed off from their owners. You are surrounded by Amish farms, see the buggy's pass, walk to a farm stand and can see the alpaca's just a mile down the road. And at night the lightning bugs put on a show. Now for the motel. The name speaks for itself. The rooms are very clean with a refrig., microwave and coffee maker. The room is larger than a standard motel room with two nice chairs as a welcome addition. Plenty of ice, plenty of tv channels (if you really need them) and plenty of repeat guests that you can talk to as you sit in front of your room. If you need peace and a quiet haven, then this the motel you're looking for.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights back in June and loved it! nothing fancy, but was very clean and quiet! Loved being so close to the Amish farms. We took a walk everyday and very much enjoyed seeing the Amish going about there day. Would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

It's everything the others have said it was; clean, quiet and a home away from home. Friendly staff...also cats who will come up to you and even go in your room if you let them. Horses grazing nearby, the sound of horse-drawn carriages nearby add to the charm. If only I lived closer I'd be going to the Quiet Haven every chance I could.

Stayed here with wife for last minute three day weekend. We go to lancaster often and this was our first time here..it was very quiet and clean...surrounded by farms, but still close to everything. It's not a resort or fancy hotel, but staff was nice and it was very relaxing ..we will definitely be staying there again!

Always stay here when in the Lancaster region. Older motor inn style property. Family owned & operated. Menonite women are the housekeeping staff. Rooms are very comfortable - almost like you're home. Situated away from the major highways of Route 30 & Route 897, down Siegrist Rd adj to a Amish Farm. Somedays you can see the Amish gentleman tending to his crops or his cows grazing on grass. Great place to stay in the springtime & watch a thunderstorm pass by. 2 Patio chairs are located outside each room & the walkway's are carpeted. There is usually a cat or two running around. You can hear the distant train horn for the Irishtown Rd Grade Crossing on Amtrak's Keystone Line.

Only con - there is a bright street lamp style light near the ice machine area. But everything else is A-ok.
