Dienner's is a no-frills restaurant with booths and tables set amid a pert, bright atmosphere. This restaurant is run by Amish, and the food is great! We visited two nights in a row, the price was $9.95 including all the bountiful salad bar, the main fare buffet selections, and the best dessert selections around!
Don't miss the broccoli salad with hint of bacon, and the roasted chicken was a delight! Serving the best whipped potatoes and buttered Pennsylvania "Deutsch" noodles, the other selections were great; beef tips, and on Friday, fried shrimp and fried cod fish!
Our waitresses, "Kath" on Thursday, and "Roseanne" on Friday, were very sweet and attentive!
It's a relaxing place great for couples, families or anyone with an interest in home-cooked food at a fabulous price!
Dienner's is adjacent to the Windmill Dutch gift shop on Route 30, east from the 896/30 junction, right past Millers!
Compared to the other "family style" restaurants of more fame, Dienner's was, hands down, the very best!
Come hungry, leave with a smile!
