We stayed here 1 night, and the home is definitely a grand victorian in architecture. It is nicely appointed with period/traditional decorating. The co-owners (Daphne / Paul) try to be very accommodating with any needs. The home is non smoking.
We stayed in the Victorian Room. This one room is HUGE. The bed is a foot off the floor and you need the steps to get up on it, but it is comfortable and the furniture is lovely. There's a mini-fridge in the closet and there is A/C. Breakfast is served to your room, and we couldn't even finish the scrambled eggs, home fried patties, almost 1 lb of bacon, and bagels, never mind the fruit.
The 3 downsides to this B&B are that we went in mid-August, with 99 degree temps, and there's NO air conditioning in the rest of the house - only the room, and THAT air goes right out the big (but pretty) fireplace. If you are going here, I recommend doing Spring/Fall/Winter early Summer, because by the time you shower and dress and get to your car, you need another shower. I understand that a home of this size is probably very expensive to air condition, but it's brutal without the A/C.
For the Victorian Room, the bathroom is private, but it's outside of the room, where only an oriental screen separates the bathroom from the Library Room and the hallway. The bathroom is big, BUT all bathroom 'sounds' are heard in the hallway, where's there's another suite. This turned us off, and you DEFINITELY need a bathrobe to get to the bathroom, because also in the hallway cake/cookies are served on an antique buffet piece. We like our privacy, and this bathroom idea is not for us.
The rooms have access to a porch, and our neighbors went on the porch while we were dressing and did not have the window shutters closed. Remember to close all the shutters in the room because other folks can see you without straining to look in.
If we go again, I'd try the Sternburgh Suite.
