We recently ate here on a "date night". The menu had many choices, especially seafood. We stuck with the Italian selections and ordered Veal Parmesan and Ravioli. Veal was fresh and the ravioli was homemade. Good size portions. We were disappointed with the dessert selections, figuring that a place like Anthony's would have a wide selection of homemade Italian specialties. No such luck, as only 2 items were freshly prepared (others looked like SweetStreet desserts which I can buy anywhere).
The main issue we had was the smell of the place and the temperature. The bar area had little to no air conditioning, just ceiling fans. It made the area very hot and sticky feeling. The main dining area was a bit cooler, but still very humid/ sticky. I felt like I was in Florida (maybe that is why the crowd was >70). The lack of cooling also creates an odor issue, as the restaurant serves a lot is seafood/shellfish. The smell is quite overpowering when you first walk in and will turn some people off. They really need to fix the a/c and air circulation.
