What a beautiful place! The woods, mill, river, and covered bridge are all eye-candy. A beautiful place for walking and hiking. Be careful after a rain, becauxe rocks can be slippery.

Love McConnells Mill! So picturesque and has a ton of hiking trails, GREAT trout fishing right below the red covered bridge, and love the old grist mill with all the displays and history inside!

McConnells Mill is one of the best small state parks in PA. The mill, the gorge, the bridge, the trails. All make for a truly wonderful day trip. I love it so much I hike the trails at least 3 times a week. Weather permitting. If you like rocks and ropes, then the cliffs at McConnells Mill will offer you a fun challenging afternoon of climbing and/or rappelling. If you're just passing by, the park is just off 79. it's well worth the detour.
