Inn on Maple Street Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I went there for the Veterans Day special that many of the Bed & Breakfasts nationwide were offering. We knew they really meant it when they said, "come on in and make yourselves at home!" You felt like family, the conversations with everyone was just like being home with friends that you hadn't seen in years - very comfortable. Our host never made us fell rushed or that someone was waiting on us, thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable! Some of the older vets in the area stopped by for a visit and joined in our conversations. It greatly enhanced our stay in so many ways. We will definitely go back! One of the finest small WWII museums is just up the road in Eldred, PA, There is a very good Case knife and Zippo lighter museum in Bradford, PA and a K-Bar (now Cutco) museum and outlet in Olean, NY. All are within a short drive. I can’t say enough about our wonderful hosts, Jay and Sharen – nothing would have been the same without them! Oh! And don’t forget to try some of Jay’s cheese cake during the holiday season (or just ask him about them, they are OUTSTANDING!).

We had a lovely stay at the Inn on Maple Street B&B. The innkeepers were so friendly and very accomodating. We need to get in early for my sisters wedding and it was no problem at all. They thought of all the little things from toothbrushes, bathrobes in room, extra linens, bottled water, cans of pop, fridge, and more! Breakfast was amazing and over the top! :) Look forward to returning!

Room Tip: If you don't want to have to walk to breakfast, get coffee, or use a computer, then request a ro...

We stayed here after attending my sister's wedding reception in Port Allegany. The Inn on Maple Street is cozy place to stay and reminds me of sleeping over at my Nana's house. The room we had was very spacious with the bedroom and bathroom being private and separate from each other. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The house we were in was full but we never heard anyone else unless they were going up or down the stairs. We had french toast and sausage links for breakfast. It was delicious. I highly recommend staying here.

My wife & I travelled to Port Allegany for my wife's 50th high school reunion, Port Allegany High class of '61. It was our good fortune to book three nights at the Inn on Maple Street. We stayed in one of the rooms in the second house Jay & Sharen own one block from the main house. Very comfortable, clean, private, & resonably priced. Breakfast was always a treat. Staying at the Inn made the whole trip a delight. We will definitely reserve a room when we return to the area. Be sure to visit the World War II Museum in nearby Eldred, PA. A wonderful hidden treasure worth the short trip & $5.00 admission.

Room Tip: Book in advance.

If you're looking for a cozy spot with tremendous hospitality this is the place...had a chance to visit here during a trip from the Grand Canyon Of Pennyslvania to our favorite winery in Kane, PA. Port Allegany is a great small town with just the right amount of conveniences, and our innkeepers Jay and Sharen made us feel right at home...Highly recommended!!!

During a difficult time for our family, losing a loved one and having to travel home for the funeral, we were having difficulty accomodations that would suit the needs of our sizeable family, we called Jay who graciously took care of our every need. We were given the suite which was very comfortable and just the privacy we needed to get through some difficult days. Having breakfast with Jay and preparing for the day was very comforting. We had some sort of routine which our 2, 3 and 6 yr old needed which taking care of matters we needed to while we were here, Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely be back!!!!
