Purchased an evening day pass from 5pm-10pm on July 4th and had a great time!
The lobby and grounds are beautiful and for us, 5 hours at an indoor water park is the perfect amount of time.

With the pass you can get access to the waterpark, arcade and all of the restaurants and shops in the lobby.

We spent most of our time in the indoor waterpark. It was huge and my kids, ages 5 and 10, had plenty to do. It was not crowded at all; we easily found tables and chairs. My older kid never waited more than 3 minutes for a big slide and there is tons to do for the younger ones- much more than Great Wolf.

There was even an indoor/outdoor family hot tub.

They even have baby water tables for babies that can sit and splash and play.

They have two bars inside the waterpark, one a swim up and a regular bar as well as a grab and go for snacks.

The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bonus of going on the 4th was that they put on one of the best fireworks display set to music we have ever seen as well as a dance party.

It was a great 4th of July quick day trip for us as we lived less than an hour away from this Kalahari.

One word of advice for Kalarhari- get bathroom attendants for the bathrooms as well as floor fans. People were just making a disaster of the bathrooms and the floors were obviously slippery!

Other than that, the day pass is a great option (especially the evening day pass)!

Room Tip: ask for a front facing room as it looks like a construction site in the back

Thanks Erica for the review. Being new to the area, we love hearing about all the details so we perfect our experience for our guests. I have already shared your bathroom note to our team. Great suggestion! The 4th was an absolute blast! So glad that we got to share that with you. Hopefully we can make this a yearly tradition. Looking forward to seeing you again soon, maybe even before the 4th (winter getaways are the best!)!

We were guests for the grand opening and had a blast. The resort is quite large with plenty to do, but the super nice and helpful staff are worth noting.

The staff is friendly in an authentic way, and you can tell they want to help. Even though most of them were working 24/7 to get the property open.

The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were in a standard room with two beds and pullout couch. It was ample for 2 adults and 2 kids.

The common areas are nicely decorated with African art, and the lobby is nicely themed. The coffee shop was a lifesaver at 6:30AM

The Water Park is huge and there's more to come. It had something for everyone in our group of parents and kids ages 1-14. It's why you come to a resort like this and it delivered.

The gym was nice and an even bigger one will be in place when phase 2 opens. My daughter spent almost as much time in the arcade as she did in the water park. Your kids will not be bored! And if they are old enough to be on their own, you can slip off to the adults only swim up bar.

If you are looking for a family getaway, you won't be disappointed!

Lots of hard work, but wouldn't have it any other way! I can't wait to share this with our team. We love the feedback. Thank you again for visiting us and sharing your thoughts. Looking forward to making many memories for years to come!
