“Surprisingly good!”

Great hotel. They had a really wonderful Suite Seasons breakfast with oatmeal, pancakes, hot eggs and a hot sausage or hot bacon plus the normal continental fare.

The fitness room had personal tvs for each piece of equipment. The front desk has a list of local restaurants and a pile of menus that do delivery. The only downfall is that the only restaurant within walking distance is a small hike when it's cold outside! I don't usually get room service if I stay for only 4 days but housekeeping left me a message every day reminding me that I could always call for more towels.

The only real disappointment was that the hotel doesn't offer a local shuttle.

Stayed one night, 5 people including 2 19 yr olds, 20 yr old. Chose the hotel for location near Philly. Accommodations were excellent; very clean, plenty of space for five with 2 doubles and a sofa bed.

Pool and spa were nice, small but useful exercise room. Went to look at the pool at 8PM - empty, no clean towels. Asked the desk clerk for a clean pool towel - she replied she'd have some placed there. Went to my room to change, came back to pool 5 minutes later and a supply of about 20 towels was already put by the pool.

Needed directions to a train station 15 minutes away - they had them already pre-printed and handed them to me.

Plenty of area restaurants and fast food (Mall less than a half mile away - brand new Dave & Buster's).

Nice Continental breakfast - sausage & eggs, waffles plus all the usual.

Excellent, cordial and helpful staff. Newspaper even on Sunday.

I have stayed at this hotel for 1 night every year for the past 7 years. I think it has slipped the past couple of years.

Just stayed this past Friday night (7/19). It seems the power had been off and came back about 20 minutes before we got there. I am told that this has happened a few times at this hotel recently.

The room is still clean. But the bed is too soft and not comfortable. And the a/c is a little noisy. My wife and I did not sleep well.

Our friend's phone rang at 1:00 AM and woke them up. The person at the front desk answered as if they had been called instead of making the call. A little strange.

Also, the cable tv was not working. I called the front desk, and was told that it was due to the power outage. I asked when it would be back. The answer was "we are working on it now". It was still not back 1 hour later when we went to sleep. It was back the next morning.

We are a group of 4 couples who stay here every year for 1 night on our way to see our kids at sleep-away camp visiting day. We all felt the same way.

I think we may be trying another hotel next year - maybe the Courtyard up the street.

This is a typical "suite hotel", but the suites do NOT have any door separating the bedroom from the living room. So if you are bringing kids and want privacy, this would not be ideal. One TV that swivels between the living and sleeping area. Unlike embassy that has two TV's.

However, other than that, it is very nicely done. Rooms are comfortable, TV is decent and Internet is free. Breakfast is the typical free stuff, but tasty enough and plenty of variety.

The pool is small (you won't be lapping) but it was very warm during our stay, and just great for relaxing after a days touring. The spa is almost too hot.

Everything nice and clean, parking is fine and the folks are nice. Nice guest laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers.

Location is right off 276/476 but not close enough that you hear the traffic. Easy on and easy off (although the traffic around here makes nothing "easy"!!). Very close to King of Prussia mall, which is quite an experience in itself, if you like huge malls with everything. I don't but my teenage daughter was in heaven.

I recommend a room above the first two floors. We had a generator or something behind our second floor room, but it never bothered me, just listing it for those who want ZERO sound.

We were on a weeklong college visiting trip, and this is a great home base for that.

  • Disliked — TV could be bigger and you have to look sideways to see it from bedroom area

We stayed at this suburban Philadelphia hotel during spring break 2008. It was close to Valley Forge and King of Prussia Mall, two of the places we wanted to see on our trip. While the location was okay - too far for visiting downtown Philadelphia - the hotel itself is in need of refurbishment. The refrigerator was barely cold, so we used our ice chest instead. The carpet, paint and wallpaper throughout the hotel looks worn and needs to be replaced.
We got a two double bed suite, which was not a true suite. While it is nice if you are simply looking for a large hotel room, there is no way to seperate the areas. So, if you are a family wanting to put your kids to bed early while you stay up to watch TV, it simply won't work here. The only sink was in the bedroom area rather than behind the door of the bathroom. Also, there were no linens available for the sofa bed, and I ended up having to retrieve them myself. The pool is tiny and was crowded the entire weekend of our stay. Breakfast was okay, but the fruit cups tasted like chemicals and the bananas were more brown than yellow.

We, family of 4, 2 adults in mid-30s, and 2 kids (11 and 4) stayed here for 3 nights in late March 28, 2008. The hotel is all suites, with a separate sleep and “living/sitting area”. We had 2 doubles, a sleep sofa, a work table and a little area with a small “cooler box”, a microwave and a sink. The beds are a bit soft, and the pillows are not too comfortable. Breakfast was good with hot and cold items. They seem to run out of fruits often. Check the time for breakfast, as it varies from weekday and weekends. The pool was very warm, good size and open late. Kids had fun there.
The hotels are not too far from a lot of restaurants, and about 20 min away from Philadelphia. Parking is free at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay there.

The rooms were nice enough, but the layout of the floors and room seem cramped and don't seem to flow. Staff friendly, and helpful. Very convenient location off freeway, right across street from a pretty good Macaroni Grill. Beds were soft, which I personally did not like.
