The Italian food (linguine shrimp marinara) was as good as anything I’ve had in NYC or Philadelphia. Had an excellent, genuine homemade cheesecake for dessert. The prices are very reasonable; and service was great. The restaurant has a very classy look to complement the great food. Hard to believe it is in Pittston. Will definitely go again.

The facility was excellent; lighting perfect, ambience of colors around the tables are nice, not too noisy... was perfect for an evening dinner. Our waiter was very excited about the specials so the five of us followed suit. The salads and appetizers were excellent; food was thoughtful and very tasty. Service are exemplary; on one occasion, our bar waitress did failed to serve an ordered drink, but once we flagged her down, she apologized and served the drink post haste. All and all, it is easy to see Palazzo 53 cares about its business and aims to please.

Group of 8 for business, very mixed service. First the food was quite good, apps ok, soup was great and salads good. Service was attentive, but food runners lacking. Timing was mixed. Took several tries to get something as simple as missing tableware. Not a terrible experience but easily could have been improved

Had dinner with a friend here last evening. Great service, excellent quality and reasonable prices (not inexpensive but not overly expensive). I had the pork chop calabrese and it was very enjoyable. My friend had a house made pasta dish w. seafood. The chop was a french cut and highest quality. Pasta was yummy with seafood. Desserts were also good as was the wine selection by the glass. Service was at the level of a major metro. Overall a very special experience in a refined atmosphere. I agree with some other reviewers that if you did not know where you were geographically you might have convinced someone you had been in a larger metro area. I would have given all fives but the potato size and style of cut (not the flavor or the preparation which were flawless) was not to my personal preference for calabrese, I like the potatos more rustic, cut larger and round. Overall however, Bravo to the folks at Palazzo!

The food is really, really good. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I try to eat here at least once or twice a month. The veal ragu is amazing as well as the chicken parm. Can't go wrong with specials. If in the area a must....
