We took advantage of a last minute deal and was blown away by the value of what we received. The room was at about three times the size of typical rooms. It had one and a half bathrooms. This was a nice surprise, especially when traveling with teenage girls. The fitness center has at least five treadmills, two bikes, two elipticals, full set of weight machines, etc. - not the typical closet filled with a bike, treadmill, and eliptical machine I have come to expect at most hotels. Parking is pricey, but weekends after 4PM on Friday it is only $5 in the parking garage across the street. Inside the hotel, adjacent to the street, is an Einstein Brothers coffee and bagel shop. The historic detail is very impressive. We enjoyed just walking around inside the hotel, relaxing in the first floor lobby area and wondering what famous people in history had done the same. Only disappointment was there is no pool.

The Omni William Penn is a wonderful place to stay. We visit there one night per week and we are treated like family. The staff greet us and make sure that we have everything we could possibly want. The valets are so good to us and we have come to know them quite well. The hotel experience there is very special. It is a great place to stay!

Unless you have money to burn I'd recommend a different hotel. $29.00 a day for parking, $9.95 a day for internet and if you use your debit card to pay be prepared to leave an extra $100.00 deposit on top of the high room rates. They only have a king or two double beds - no queens. At the time of writing this they have double charged my debit card and I'm waiting for it to be sorted out.

I stayed at this hotel due to a business need and was quite impressed. Beautiful and regal, felt like something years gone by and in a good way! The room with 2 double beds was very spacious and extremely clean. It is expensive, so not sure I'd stay there if not business related, but defintely a lovely experience and would recommend if it fits your budget.

The staff at the Omni William Penn was friendly and accomodating! Great stately hotel! We will be back. The location is a great downtown area. The lobby is very impressive and the The Speakeasy was a unique experience. Kudos to all!

I travel all over the world and love to stay at interesting hotels.I also tend to be a bit obsessive about finding the right place to stay. I would much prefer a hotel that is reflective of the place I am visiting as opposed to a typical hotel chain in the middle of the city, though those serve their purpose at times. The Omni William Penn exceeded my expectations. I was a bit worried because it's such a large hotel, it didn't feel crowded despite being a busy weekend, and offered me everything I could have wanted in a hotel. The staff was there when I needed them, not overbearing but super accomodating. The lobby is gorgeous and inviting. There is a Starbucks right off the lobby and the hotel is within walking distance to super fun neighborhoods and great restaurants (highlights included dinner at Eleven and Nicky's Thai). The historic charm of the hotel extends into the hallways which are wide and expansive and beautifully decorated to the rooms themselves. Ours had 2 bathrooms and was large and comfortable. Other reviewers noted the darkness of some of the rooms and I tend to agree that was the case with our room, but it was not unpleasant. The fitness center was even charming, with a beautiful fireplace, carved wood paneling and interesting windows. I would stay here again and again and again. I had a few light snacks at the lobby bar and all was delicious.

Very elegant hotel. Takes you back to when customer service was top priority. Friendly staff, our suite was beautiful. Had the best nights sleep in a hotel ever. Short walk to the Consol Energy Center for the Pens game we attended. Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely stay there again.
