We took advantage of a last minute deal and was blown away by the value of what we received. The room was at about three times the size of typical rooms. It had one and a half bathrooms. This was a nice surprise, especially when traveling with teenage girls. The fitness center has at least five treadmills, two bikes, two elipticals, full set of weight machines, etc. - not the typical closet filled with a bike, treadmill, and eliptical machine I have come to expect at most hotels. Parking is pricey, but weekends after 4PM on Friday it is only $5 in the parking garage across the street. Inside the hotel, adjacent to the street, is an Einstein Brothers coffee and bagel shop. The historic detail is very impressive. We enjoyed just walking around inside the hotel, relaxing in the first floor lobby area and wondering what famous people in history had done the same. Only disappointment was there is no pool.
