We arrived for check in at 3:30pm on Saturday during the Frozen Four. Parking was a challenge and we finally found a garage a few blocks away, but signage was not clear around the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we waiting in a long, long line that snaked around the lobby. When we finally got to the desk they told us that they were having housekeeping issues and our 2 rooms were not ready. They said they would call us in a few hours when the rooms were cleaned. We went off to dinner and the call never came. We went back to the hotel around 11:00 and were told they didn't have any room for us, but we could go to the Airport Marriott. Unbelievable. Communication was terrible. They should have called us and we would have appreciated knowing early on that they had no rooms for us. We travel to Pittsburgh often and will never stay there again. On another note, the staff at the Airport Marriott couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. What a contrast!

This hotel was chosen as it was the site of a conference I was attending. However, there was very poor customer service, including no cleaning of the room not only for my room but for many other conference attendees. Others had missing bathroom doors when they were sharing a room. When the room was cleaned, no new towels were added to the room (but dirty towels were taken...so we had no towels). The conference was to have internet availability during the lectures but the hotel was unable to accomodate (even though it had been promised). There were so many errors that the hotel offered an open bar during an evening session. Then, I leave the city and find multiple charges on my credit card (5 total)!! I would not recommend this hotel for any conference or any other stay.

The location was very good in downtown PA. My biggest disappointment was the bed. It was really soft. I woke up with a sore back and tired. I couldn't believe it. We paid four star prices and we cheated. I mean a big part of staying in a hotel is how comfortable you sleep. It was clean and the location was great. Just not worth the price.
