I really enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham PIttsburgh University Center. The staff was very friendly and the room very comfortable. Great location too - a 10 minute walk from the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, and a couple blocks from Forbes Ave., which has lots of eating options and convenience stores. My bed was great, and my room was very spacious. The only downside to my room was that is was near an elevator, and I could hear a low rumbling occasionally at night. So if you're a light sleeper, be sure to request a room that is not near the elevator. The heater/AC was also pretty loud, but I just turned it off at night and my room stayed pretty warm without it, even though it was -10 degrees F outside. The fitness room was also nice. The restaurant was pretty good, but a bit overpriced. Overall, great experience, and for the room rate I got ($111/night through a "stay 3 nights, get 30% off" promotion), I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
