We stayed for a dance competition. The manager on duty was very rude to us parents talking to us as if we were the children. Separated the group from staying close together. We were told several times our kids were too loud when they were not. Rooms were not as nice as they were said to be and the restaurant was pricey.

Stayed here March 2014. The staff was friendly, the hotel was very clean and modern. Great breakfast buffet. Pool area is well maintained and large. Was hoping for a hot tub but they didn't have one. This hotel is perfect if you are doing anything in Pittsburgh, on a Saturday night it wasn't busy and it's just a few minutes to all the restaurants and activities, we stopped by the zoo nearby.

My only complaint is the curtains. I don't understand why hotels insist on just giving you sheer curtains with drapes that don't close. We left for ice cream at night, came back and I could see into people's rooms from the parking lot if they had their lights on, it was creepy. They have thick drapes, but they are just decorative for the sides, they don't close and aren't on a track that can be pulled shut. So in the morning, if your room faces the east (ours did), it's as bright as the surface of the sun. And at night, our room faced the parking lot, so the lights in the parking light were bright as well. Bring a sleeping mask if you plan to stay here, otherwise the light is definitely waking you up! If anything Comfort Inn, please make it so the drapes will close, not just for privacy reasons, but so your patrons can sleep past 6 am!

After two flights connecting from Detroit this hotel accomodations were welcomed. I slept pretty well in a king suite though the light from the pool area through the curtains was bothersome. Apparently, there is an additional curtain to block light ( oh i knew that)! Complimentary breakfast was readily available for the stay and there was a shuttle for the VA hospital where the training was held. Just right for the stay.

We needed a one nite hotel room for our 9 year old child's hockey tryout. This was cheap and close to the Con Sol center, where we needed to go. The ratings weren't bad, but no mention of the area the hotel was located in. We arrived at night and had a different view of the hotel in the daylight

PROS:The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. The Comfort Inn is located close to the restaurant district and the sporting centers. Priced well.
CONS:The hotel is located in an industrial park. The parking lot was not well lit. There are only two floors to the hotel and we were located on the first floor where outsiders can view into your hotel window. This made us feel insecure.

Room Tip: request 2nd floor room

My wife and I stayed overnight here following a wedding we attended. We were greeted quickly at check-in and taken care of without any problems. The hotel is pretty nice for a Comfort Inn; the public areas and our room were clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get a good night's sleep. The free breakfast offered a large selection and was kept stocked throughout the morning. There is an indoor pool but we were not able to use it because it was only open from 10 to 8. The lounge at the hotel wasn't bad, pretty typical of what you would find at most hotels. Overall, I would say that this is nicer than most of the Comfort Inns I've stayed at but also fairly expensive for what it is.

We stayed there for 6 nights the beginning of October. Nice rooms, beds were fairly comfy, rooms a good size, nice pool, breakfast was good and free. The lounge was a bit strange. Only open until 10 pm unless the bartender felt like closing early at 8 or 9 which happened 3 of the nights we were there. That was kind of a bummer since we didn't want to drive somehwere to have a few drinks after visiting with our grandkids. The one thing that was really annoying was the night of the Pres debate the bar TV's were on the debate and the manager put it on the overhead speakers very loud. I don't go to relax in a lounge to listen to poitical stuff. The baseball playoffs were on, there were only 6 of us in the bar and some of us were watching the ball game. We had to leave it was so annoying. The East Coast is a bit different than Alaska though so I chalked it up to that. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Would recommend unless you want a 5 star expensive place. The price was higher than I wanted to pay but low for the area. It would be nice to have a coffee maker and fridge available.
