Lovely little place with cozy lounge and great food. I've also hosted a few family events in the private rooms upstairs. The service both in the private room and in general are excellent. In the winter, you can't beat the cozy lounge for a drink and light bite.

Located just off one of Pittsburgh's main traffic arteries, Willow is an eye-catching restaurant with several seating options - the comfy bar, outside on the patios, around a communal table or in the mood soothing main dining rooms. The color scheme includes a green willow color that, coupled with finely tuned lighting, make dining an almost therapeutic experience.
Changing his menu seasonally, Chef Anthony Pupo, trained at Johnson and Wales, serves exemplary contemporary American cuisine.
Popular dishes include prime sirloin, crab cakes and Branzino Seabass, seared and filled with prosciutto and asiago. I particularly enjoyed my rabbit stew appetizer and duck entree. Desserts made in house, and the wine list is eclectic and well put together.

This is not a place to go for good food...The restaurant is lovely and pleasant with good service, but the food is simply awful. Lunch is fine here but dinner is a different story. We've had dinner here twice and both were served with extremely overcooked food. The most recent visit, the chicken & rib special that was ordered, the rib was like a piece of charcoal when arrived at the table. It was all black on the outside and very dried and tasteless. The chicken was fine. The branzino was also overcooked and very dried but had some taste to it. The other time was when a pasta dish was ordered and arrived at the table so overcooked that the pasta turned into almost a paste. This place could be so much better if the kitchen would pay more attention to the food.
