sushi rolls were mushy, frozen fish. Pad Thai noodles could have come from a frozen package with one slice of vegetable and 8 small pieces of chicken. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but these dishes should not have been on any menu anywhere.

So it was my third time eating Chinese food. Honestly, I had been going to other restaurants whenever I had a craving for Chinese. I decided this time to go to Sushi Boat to order a rice bowl. I noticed an almost complete difference with this restaurant compared to the other restaurants that I had been to. The atmosphere is very calming, and they usually play chinese pop on the radio in the lobby.

I now usually get Chicken curry, and they add cooked carrots and potatoes to the dish as well. The portions are very generous, and the prices are amazing! Its usually around $5-6, depending on what you get. If you wanted to get sushi (which is amazing by the way!),
then it would cost a little more, but it is definately worth it.

The staff is extremely friendly and well trained in what they do, especially the sushi chef. They make the sushi up front by the counter in front of you, so you could watch how they go about preparing it! The counter people/cashiers also speaks excellent English, but I never had a problem understanding people.

The food is really good at this restaurant. They give you generous portions, I usually make two meals out of it. You have the choice whether to eat in (you would go upstairs if you wanted to eat in), or you can always order take-out. I also like the Pad Thai, its simply good!

The only thing that I have to complain about is that sometimes, they are very busy. The majority of their customers are mainly students, but there are also older adults that go in and pick up some food. But that's the only complaint that I have. There are pictures all over the walls, so you can clearly see what is going to be in your dish. I also like their sushi, I think its the best sushi restaurant in Pittsburgh!

I would definately recomment this restaurant to sushi lovers and lovers of Chinese food! I would also take my family to try the food at the restaurant! The staff try to get your food to you as quickly as possible, which is always a plus!
