Our server George was the best. When we arrived we were told it would be a long wait, and there was other big groups seated before us, George came over seated us and we had our order in and drinks ordered before we were called to get our table. If you ever go here I would recommend having George for a server he is the best!!

Last night’s experience was a disaster.
Don’t ever go to Jerome Bettie’s Grille 36. Worst experience ever!

I never write reviews, but I couldn’t last nights experience go untold. Anything that could go wrong, did. Three hour wait to be seated and served. When our food finally arrived nearly all our orders were wrong - food was cold, some orders didn’t arrive at all. One person ordered the kale salad - spinach was served instead with no explanation. One person ordered a pulled pork sandwich, only to be told they were out of pork - not at the time of ordering but instead was told over 45 minutes later when the other orders were being served. Fish tacos came in lieu of fish and chips. Two orders were never even came at all! Wait staff were rude and made ZERO attempt to rectify the situation. Called the manager over and she was calm, as were we, but she was totally incompetent and couldn’t problem-solve at all or explain why everything had gone so terribly wrong. Staff basically abandoned us at this point and waited for us to leave. This was a total gong show from beginning to end and the 10 people in our party will NEVER go to this restaurant again.

Avoid this place. Dirty and unsanitary. Wait staff and management are inappropriate and not equipped or trained to deal with big groups. We had nine people and the restaurant tried to serve our food three hours later and none of the order was right. The food was cold, and looked suspect. Very concerning. Manager and staff refused to take ownership for the fail and then began to say inappropriate things about people in our group out loud. We were at all times trying to be cooperative but we were frustrated and manager refused to deal with it. Actually we only saw her once and then she hid away and let her staff forge for themselves. Very very disappointing. Avoid.

At one time, this was a nice go-to casual/sort of upscale restaurant that you took out- of- town guests to or just went for a quick bite in the city. We visited after a few years this past Sunday and were seated near the bar area. Looking around, it was shocking to see how in need of a renovation this place is. Chipped walls and paint, dirty carpets, dirt and bugs in the huge light above us. It just looks so uncared for. There were a ton of things that employees could have been doing besides gathering in the front gabbing with one another. When we were handed the menu and saw that the menu itself was dirty, that just added to this experience. We did not feel like really ordering anything at that point. We each had a beer and ordered a quesadilla because the waitress was a lovely woman. We wanted a full lunch, but decided that we would move on. Such a disappointment to see how this restaurant differs now from the beginning. Management, investors, somebody has to care enough to look around and see how badly it needs help. This could be something so great with the location and sports theme, but more people on the inside have to care.
