Been here twice - once for a work function and once w/ my family. Very disappointing! This is the restaurant to go to if you are looking to drink and eat appetizers - but not for dinner. The appetizers are very good. The dinners aren't badly priced but the food is not cooked correctly and the choice of tuna for the pan-seared tuna, dinner portion, is cheap at best. The tuna was over-cooked and tough and lacking any flavor. Worst of all though is the service. Or lack of. The servers are slow, indifferent and aren't there to serve you. When a server is more interested in taking your receipt so they can see the tip while you are still AT the table...you know why they are there. Would not go back unless at least the service was improved. We have not sat at the bar. That may be better.

This concept restaurant was recommended by our hotel front desk as a casual place to eat dinner within walking distance from both PNC Park and Heinz Field. It appears to be a sports bar with an ex-athlete’s name above the door. It is much more than that – the food is great. Our waitress, Jade, was delightful. She was eager to help, enthusiastic about the menu, and on top of every need we had at the table. At her recommendation, we tried a number of their signature drinks. All were potent and delicious.

We started our meal with the spinach and artichoke dip – a hot mixture of spinach, prosciutto, and artichoke hearts whipped in a parmesan cream sauce served in a large bowl. The platter is lined with warm grilled pita points which were soft and flavorful – a great platform for the dip which was excellent. It served four easily.

The hit at the table was the deep fried cheeseburger (which is as decadent as it sounds). Don’t tell your cardiologist. It is a large meat patty, covered with American cheese, pickles, and secret sauce. It is then placed in a soft bun and the entire thing is dipped into tempura batter and deep fried – it looks like a deep fried softball. A layer of lettuce, tomato, and a pickle slice is pinned to the top of the ball. The ball rests on a plate full of seasoned fries. It is a staggering presentation. I worried about it being dry or/and greasy – it was neither. It was tasty, moist on the inside, crusty on the outside, and fun to eat. After using a steak knife to carve the first few bites from one side, I was able to pick it up and eat it like a regular hamburger. It is worth the effort – try one.

My wife liked the ultimate Mac and cheese – a serving-sized bowl of crispy bread crumb crust, corkscrew pasta, mixed with bacon, three cheeses, and tomatoes. It could have fed all four of us. Plan on taking two-thirds of it home with you.

Another member of the party had the street truck shrimp tacos – three tacos filled generously with seasoned shrimp, cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, draped in a cool lime dipping sauce -- served with brown rice and beans. She loved it.

The last member had the pulled barbecued pork sandwich – a large mound of house-smoked shoulder, barbecue sauce, and onion strings on a toasted bun. It disappeared quickly. Excellent.

Outdoor seating and an incredible view make this one of the best places to eat in Pittsburgh when the weather is good. Large portions of food for reasonable prices make this a good place to bring a family. There are several large screen TV's for sports, and a very large bar area. One of the unique items is the wall above the urinals in the men's room looks through the two-way mirror behind the hostess station, so you have a great view of the restaurant and bar while you're, um, well, you get the idea.... Ha. Nachos and Wings are excellent, as are the massive burgers. Everything I've had here tasted great. There are places to lock your bike if you decide to stop here while riding along the trails.

This is a great place to visit with a cool atmosphere. Food is reasonable and tasty, but not amazing. I would still go back.

During any major sporting event this place is pretty busy and the service can be slow. The food is very good, but the portions are huge and it's a little pricy. They usually have drink specials which is nice. The mac and cheese is delicious - definitely recommend.
