“A good bar, with standard food fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

This bar is next to Heinz Field (and named for an ex-Steeler player) and also near the riverfront walk. They have a very extensive drink menu including an expanded selection of craft brews.
The food is pretty standard bar/pub fare.
Most interesting feature (from a male perspective at least) is the bathroom that has a one way mirror right in front of the urinals, which at first is quite disconcerting as you stand there doing your business.

“Poor Service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

We were looking forward to a Friday night out with the family. Unfortunately the service was so slow it really put a negative feel for the night. It also seemed the wait staff had a real attitude. The food was adequate, won't be in a hurry to return.

“Average at Best!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Burgers were just average. Nachos were huge but lacking flavor. Large beer selection but that's at alit of places. Just a fun bar food place without great food. Too many good restaurants in Pittsburgh to go back to Grill 36!!

“Mediocre at best.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

Was here on a business trip and was recommended this place. The service was sub par but I can excuse that since the Pirates were in a playoff game. I ordered a cup of soup that was served room temperature. I only ordered an appetizer for dinner which was okay but not worth ordering again. There are many good places in this city and I would recommend finding something other than this typical sports bar.

“Take the bus”

(Steelers fans will get that). This restaurant is a high-end sports bar with abundant TVs all tuned to sports events, pretty high noise level and what I would call high-end bar food. I had one of the Pittsburgh salads, which you have to try if you've never had one. Definitely a step up from your run-of-the-mill sports bar, but don't come here to propose unless your intended is a huge Steelers fan.
