“Awesome view! Great Way to Get Around!”

This bridge is a great way to get around downtown Pittsburgh. Walk across to get to Point State Park, PNC Park, Heinz Field and enjoy a great view of the city, water, and bridges while you're there!

“WHAT A VIEW!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

If you go to a Pirates game, park in town and walk the bridge to the stadium. It is closed to cars on game day so you'll have time to stop, take pictures of the stadium, the city and down our rivers. They is usually music being played (tip the guy) and you can buy cheap baseball hats and "t's" at the foot of the bridge. Finally, make sure you pay homage to the 2 statues where the bridge ends...ROBERTO CLEMENTE (The Great One) and POPS, WILLIE STARGELL....Great Sports history!

Architecture out of this world. Loved and admired Roberto Clemente. What an honor for a honorable man!

“Great views”

It's near my office. Offers some great views of downtown and the river. It's nice in the spring and late fall, when the sunsets are really gorgeous.

“it's just a bridge”

Used it before a Pirates game when it was closed to traffic. Very safe to travel across the river on foot. Gives a great view of the downtown area.
