“Lunch was better than breakfast”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

Lamburger was pretty good, Cobb Salad was okay, my wife says to many onions but shes not a big onion fan. Hot Breakfast buffet was similar to a days inn.

“Slowwwwww and Dirty”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

While staying at the Doubletree, I figured I'd try the hotel restaurant. I sat at the bar. The bartender poured a glass of water for me and had to pick up some crumbs on the bar counter before he could pass the glass to me. Then, I noticed some other areas on the counter that were not clean. I ordered a salad and the chorizo. It took quite a while to get my salad and subsequently my entree'. The bar tender had to go the kitchen to retrieve the orders. At one point, there were 6 "workers" behind the bar and only one working. I'm not sure why they didn't have someone helping the bar tender with the food orders.

The organic greens salad was very good as was the chorizo. If you're hungry, you'll need to order two entree's as they are more like small plates.

Next time, I'll pass on Bigelow's.

“Breakfast is great”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

We have stayed at the Doubletree Hotel twice and Bigelow is connected to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is really good, a chef to make customized omelletes (sp?), also good scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, etc). The service is very good & pleasant.

“not much to offer”
Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

don't seek this out, but if in the area and in a pinch it serves food and drink with little fanfare. went for desert and staff seemed to be tired and not interested in taking an order.
There is not much in close proximity so the DoubleTree hotel attached provides enough customers to keep it open.

“Good concept, poor execution.”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

We went here because it advertised organic ingredients. The idea is relevant, but not well executed. The friend green tomatoes were bitter and the pierogies were gummy. On a better note, the dessert was 1/2 off since we were staying in the hotel (our server forgot it was 1/2 off). The peach cornbread was okay, but a bit dry. Would not recommend. It was also overpriced for the quality.
