Very nice atmosphere, attentive waiter and excellent meal. The variety of choices on the menu was wonderful on a cold December night and the choice of dessert wines along with their delicious desserts was fantastic! Definitely would visit again!

Met a group of friends for dinner over Christmas. Party of 9 were accomodated well in the restaurant.
To take a step back, parking was easy; you either go across the street in the $5 lot or in the parking garage above the Greyhound station. Valet parking is also available for those who just don't want the hassel.
Entering the restaurant, you get a great perspective of the perfect lighting and ambience. The staff is stylish and professional and you feel like you are a wanted guest.
We chose to have a couple drinks at the bar first before being sat at our table. The host staff could not have been more patient with the group in our seating delays and the waiter could not have been more polite once he came to our table.
Long story short, we had excellent food and an excellent time.
We were able to converse and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed.
I had the strip steak and my wife had the seafood tasting. I tasted both and would have been fine eating either!
My friend had a pork chop that was at least 3 inches think and cooked to perfection.
Everyone was satisfied to the point we all ordered desserts!

Eleven could be counted on in the past to provide just the right amount of panache along with great food to make a fantastic dining experience. Sadly that is not the case today. We recently celebrated a holiday there and met some out of town friends there. Our appetizers (beet salad, apple and parsnip soup) were great and left us anticipating our entrees. We ordered beef tenderloin and Scottish salmon. While the presentation was good, the flavor was not. The salmon was so heavily doused in vinegar it was non palatable and we left most of the portion on the plate. The tenderloin was swimming in a sauce that was also overpowering. Our friends purchased a very expensive bottle of wine to celebrate and we had to ask for it to be aerated. Apparently there is no Sommelier at Eleven as this would have been given more attention. With entrees in the $26-$38 range, there are several other restaurants in Pittsburgh which provide superior food than what was served at Eleven.

It's a little expensive but the food was very good, and the place is really fancy.. they have a good wines collection too

This place has never disappointed. Terrific place for dinner, whether solo, couple, or with a group. The menu is short and sweet. It changes, so it is always an adventure. Lamb seems to be a mainstay, but the lamb belly is exequisite, it pairs well with a Cab or Malbec. I am fan of the Hudson foie gras, an American take to a beloved French delicacy. Make your reservation whatever occasion you celebrate, or simply a whim for a fine dinner.
