Description: Terrace Room offers a setting unlike any other. From the moment you step foot inside, you are captivated by the beauty of this incredible restaurant, with its original molded plaster ceiling, sweeping mahogany arches and the striking back wall mural titled “The Taking of Fort Pitt.” The original name of the restaurant when the hotel opened on March 9, 1916, was “The Italian Terrace.” Historic photographs of the room adorn the walls upon entry for your enjoyment. What is truly special about the Terrace Room however, is not limited to the ambiance or beauty of the room, but the culinary delights that are served within. Our culinary team takes fresh, natural, local ingredients and fuses them into many creative dishes that inspire the palate and envelope the senses in an unmatched dining experience. Our exciting offerings for Sunday Brunch are inviting as well as tasteful. The Terrace Room is located off of the elegant main lobby of Omni William Penn Hotel.

Located of the grand lobby of the William Penn Hotel, this restaurant is a special place. The atmosphere is grand and the food is really special. We had breakfast here and the Eggs Benedict were fantastic.

I had a late weeknight dinner here composed of two of the appetizers on their dinner menu. The food was very good (romaine lettuce in the caesar salad was cold and crisp). The service was attentive without being obtrusive and the dining room itself is lovely and elegant. I especally liked the way they seated diners throughout the room and not crowded on top of each other. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

We took my parents to enjoy Mother's Day Brunch at the Omni William Penn Terrace Room (total 4 adults). The brunch was excellent and well priced! There is a buffet for appetizers and dessert but your main entree is ordered from the menu. Entree selections covered breakfast items (frittatta, french toast, etc.) as well as lunch items (prime rib, rack of lamb, lobster ravioli, etc.). Alcoholic drinks (mimosas, bloody mary, etc.) were also available for reasonable prices ($7) as they were not included in the $39 brunch price. Everyone was more than pleased with the quality of the food. The waiter for our table was extremely attentive and provided us with everything we needed before we even asked for it. I would highly recommend the Terrace Room for Mother's Day if you would like to impress and treat your mom to a wonderful relaxing meal.
