We each had different dinners, but the italian wedding soup and salads were terrific. Chicken and salsicce (sausage) is my favorite. Authentic Italian sauces and flavors. All homemade pastas. We made a reservation also. We are never disappointed when visiting D'Amicos! No relation to me either as my maiden name is D'Amico, as is probably 1/2 of Bloomfield :)))

Food is great; the decor is not. I've read previous reviews for D'Amicos. Some are not happy with the decor, some are not happy with the salad and bread, some are not happy with the waitstaff. Well, folks, you come here for the food. It's diverse and it's plentiful and it's not expensive. We come to visit our daughter who just completed her 5 year study to get a PhD in CompBio and often dine at D'Amico's. There's no pretentiousness here. Lots of choices of good Italian comfort food. And by the way, the waitstaff is excellent. They are efficient, and most pleasant. This past Sunday night I was her at 6. The places was full. Sort of tells you everything. You want foofoo? - go somewhere else.

Soup and salad come with your entree and soup and dressings are homemade. The menu is large, but, don't assume this is a bad sign. In fact, after many visits, every meal has pleased and satisfied us, and the pasta sauce has always been fresh and good.
The dining room decor will not win any awards, but the bar on the right side of the restaurant, is one of those old, wooden antiques, which is quite charming. Have a drink there, first, as the wine list leaves room for improvement. The service is good and attentive.

D'Amico's is a consistent, high food quality place to eat. Yes it is very italian american (versus) italian, but hey if its done right, its great.

The ambience is kind of suburban dinner and it is frequented by quite a few older people. W eate in the bar which was younger and very tin cieling-wooden bar period.

Service was actually very attententive.

Food (with the exception of the house soup) was great. We had the pasta roll and the shrimp/sausage angel hair. The pasta is madr in house and is fantastic. Where else can you be assured of home made angel hair? The filling and suces were perfect and as written on the menu.

$46 for two including great fried zucchini app. and tip.
