Friends told us there could be a long wait on Saturday morning, and the place was hopping, but it was less than 10 minutes and worth the wait. Tables were a little cozy, but the service was great, and so was the food. They're rightly well known for their pancakes, which have a cool malty taste and are more like crepes than they are thick and fluffy. Great sausage patties, and delicious homefries.

I gave Pamela's an average rating because that's just what it is. It's very small and always full of college students because it's located right near the Pitt campus. It's not bad, just not great. The only reason I go is because my cousin loves their waffles. I will say that the service is good and the staff is very personable.

Let me start by saying be ready to wait...because you will. First morning 15 minutes, second morning 35 minutes. Having said that we think that the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The atmosphere is homey and warm. Staff are very friendly, fast and efficient. Our 6 year old lived the waffle with chocolate chip...both days ate the whole thing!

We've be going to Pam's for years! The breakfast here is the best in Pittsburgh. Nobody makes crepe pancakes or potatos like Pamela's. There's always a wait on the weekends but it moves quickly. Pam's on Murray needs to cut back on the butter a bit. Definitely order the banana chocolate chip pancakes and a side of potatos. This is a "must do" for breakfast place whenever visiting Pittsburgh. There is also one located on Pitt campus.

My favorite place to have breakfast, this place is one of the best home cooked breakfast places you will find around. The only problem is that they are only open for certain hours making it harder to get to
