“Best Pizza in Pittsburgh!”
Reviewed August 4, 2011

As always, Aiello's created a magnificent pizza for me -- plain cheese -- may be boring to some, but delicious to me! The plain allows you to enjoy the flavor of the cheese, sauce, and dough! Simply delicious!

Crust was like concrete. Service was a guy throwing the piZza on our table with a disgusted look on his face

“greatest pizza there is - not a dining experience.”
Reviewed June 1, 2009

this is the best pizza you will eat. their sauce is sweet and tangy and the crust is amazing. the cheese is great.

locals either have mineo's or aiello's as a favorite pizza. i like aiello's more, but mineo's is terrific as well. it's fun to go to both of them - since they're right next door to each other -and have a slice of each to decide for yourself.

if you just want a cheap pizza, you should go elsewhere. there are plenty of places that deliver in squirrel hill like italian village, napoli's, amier's, and rialto's - all of these places are also less expensive. the service at these places is better as well; the pizza chefs are less arrogant and typically more customer orienter. however, if you want to taste THE BEST pizza for just a bit more money and hassle, aiello's or mineo's is the way to go. their pizza really is the best.
