Nice place for Sunday brunch, although the food was pricey and just so-so.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, sit outside on the patio (reservations recommended!), or inside in a cozy dining area.

As another reviewer so aptly put it, there was an unwelcome air (AT FIRST). Thankfully, I didn't let the ridiculous, "Do you have reservations?" deter us. Even though they take reservations, they were gracious enough to seat us outside as we desired-in a timely manner. Also, we had a trainee serve us & he was quite friendly, informative & very helpful. During our meal, I overheard the manager tell a diner that the meal was complimentary-as I noticed & he did also, she had been inadvertently ignored for too long a period of time. That was gracious of him (& appropriate) considering the entire cafe was filled & busy. Yet no client should be 'forgotten'. All our food was spectacular-especially the sea scallops-but pass on the pumpkin cake. It was almost tasteless.
For 3 adults, including wine the bill was over $100. Very pricey for lunch w/small portions.

A nice open space with modern menu. perfect for an afternoon getaway. Requiring 100 characters is pissing me off.

We had such a good time, we went back TWICE! The cafe was just delightful and the Almond Torte and Scones and Apricot Tea were delicious! Everything on the menu looked divine and wish we could eat more! Make sure you tour the house! This will be on our list of things to do every year!

I attended a luncheon at the cafe and we all were charmed by the atmosphere and location. Our lunch was served under the awning which set the perfect atmosphere for this event. Our server was attentive and friendly as was the manager who greeted us. The food was superb as was the dessert, made especially for us by the baker at the cafe. It was a perfectly lovely afternoon!
