The seafood is so fresh and so good and so inexpensive at this unassuming and down to earth eatery, that it is essentially like eating for free. Try to get these meals at a restaurant and you will pay two to three times as much. And depending upon your way of looking at things, the atmosphere is very retro cool and quirky, or it is not nice enough for you. I only see the food, the soft shelled crabs, the fresh fish fried, the giant shrimp, all at very inexpensive prices.

A FULL pound white fish sandwich for $6.99 (a great deal). We also got a 32oz drink for $1.89 with a free refill and an order of Calamari for $3.99 (another bargin)! We didn’t get just the Calamari rings with our order, but also little squids as well (see pic).

They have a nicely cooled dining area upstairs and did I mention this is a very good deal?

HINT: if you’re wanting to get fries $2.99 (fries have skins, if you like that sort of thing), you might as well order the combo since it’s only a penny more for slaw and a drink.

I have dined at Wholey' on several occasions and will always make this a stop while in the burgh! The seafood selection is amazing, prices are reasonable. The Sushi bar is excellent!! Andy the Sushi guy is always having fun with the customers and he makes excellent Sushi!! The sandwiches are also excellent but I try to avoid fried foods. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is a must try for sure!! All the soups are spot on!! It is a unique dining experience with great food. Expect a real fish market atmosphere including the rustic fish market smell....but try the Sushi and other food items....you will enjoy it!!

This is a great place to grab a fish sandwich after a morning exploring the Strip District! Counter service only but a great value for delicious fish- the sides are tasty too!
