The spinach ravioli was perfectly cooked and delicious. Prices were reasonable. The only drawback was that it was quite noisy and hard to carry on a conversation with others at the table.

Small intimate environment. Great food and excellent service. Can be a bit noisy. Go the last weekend of each month when they offer the osso buco. You won't be disappointed

I've been frequenting Girasole for years and just had to write a review. The food is amazing, fantastic Italian food!!! Girasole has a wonderful menu that changes seasonally but always has a few classics. My favorite are the gnocchi and the wonderful house salad with their delicious house vinaigrette. Yum!!! Wonderful, must try!!!!

Tried this in October of 12'. Parking is a mess in Shadyside but the food was good, even if service was a bit slow. I thought the Pumpkin Raviolis were a miss, but everything else was good. Limited menu as well.

The food was very good and the restaurant cosy and lively. The location and surrounding neighborhood was pleasant. The prices seemed a little high but not out of league for a larger city though the wine list was inordinately pricey. It was full on a Tuesday and obviously a popular place though a bit loud. I'd eat there again.
