“Breakfast morning after Fourth of July in Pittsburgh”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

My first visit to Pamela's. Wow - there was a line and a wait of approx. 45 minutes since alot of Philladelphia Phillies fans were in line as well (we had a Pirates - Phillies series going on). It was so worth the wait - the food is terrific. The pancakes are outstanding and the omelets are huge. However, the home fries are out of this world - I don't know what they put in them - butter and something sweet but wow I could just eat a plate of home fries. Must stop for Breakfast. I was at the location in the Strip District.

“TOP DRAWER REPORT UPON INAUGURAL VISIT”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2014

Joined the chorus of Sunday morning'ers last week. The short wait was well worth it.

Cheerful and prompt service in a fully attended house reflected a well run spot. Who could complain about overflowing blueberried, sour creamed, brown sugared hot cakes and wake up OJ and cafe.

My request for breakfast pieroghi's fried crisply and smothered in grilled onions was taken under advisement. If they become available at a future visit, there might arise the need for an even higher rating.

“Quick Service Cash Diner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

They make you feel welcome here. The portions are generous and served quickly fresh off of the griddle. The rye toast was huge and delicious. Yeah, I know, rye toast- I wasn't expecting it, either.
We had a really nice experience.

“Brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014 via mobile

Family of 4 decided to eat brunch based on reviews and rank. Had about a 20 minute wait around 10 am on a Sunday morning. Three of us ordered hot cakes with strawberries. Wife had a western omelette and potatoes. Bacon was a little thin for my liking. Everything was very tasty and service was great. People waiting whole time we were there. Want to try the crepes next time.
