Pamela's has the most original pancakes (Flap jacks). They are thin and crispy on the edges. We have been to 3 locations and every time we go the food is consistently great and the service is hospitable. This is a true Pittsburgh tradition. A MUST GO!!!! Be prepared to wait the lines are long but well worth it.

Pamela's is without a doubt the best breakfast in the area. The one in hte strip district is my favorite. This is THE place to come for pancakes. The are as thin as crapes.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Long wait, but worth it. Order the crepe pancakes. Maybe try going during the week if you don't want a wait.

I don't get all the hype of Pamela's. People have been raving about this place from college and all I see are grumpy staff, long waits and average food. And whatever they put in their pancakes that everyone seems to love so much gets on everything else on the griddle, so their homefries and eggs (which are always runny no matter how you order them) always taste really funny. Deluca's is way better.

We love this place for their delicious pancakes and quick service. I would give it 5 stars but this stuff has got to be bad for my health
